Great to have freshly cooked food by a chef who cooks rather than heating frozen food from a packet. Friendly and excellent service.

As always, The Globe is a great place for an informal dinner with golfing friends. This time it was made all the easier thanks to online booking for 6 people to dine last Thursday evening. The food is tasty, well presented and there are plenty of choices. We look forward to returning in late February before our next Rye golfing adventure.

The staff were warm and welcoming and the atmosphere cheerful and bright but the food was not good. We both had the daily specials - my fish platter was dry, slight in content, the only tasty thing was the mackerel pate, my husband had pork with watermelon which he said just did not work, we noticed that our fellow dinners opposite left a lot of their food - keep it simple! Before retiring I was a chef.

The food was fantastic and service excellent Great environment where one can actually have a conversation without being overpowered by ambient noise Prices were perhaps slightly higher than most but don’t mind that for the quality

We had a great meal on Friday evening. A group of 8 ladies and the food was great and staff were very attentive. Will come back

Crab & shrimp salad was very tasty & very fresh. Beautiful dover sole cooked to perfection - delicious!

We have been to the Denbigh for food & drinks several times now. The food and staff are always excellent the only downside being there just isn't enough staff

A lovely pub, had the squid starter was tasty but a very small portion for the money. The staff however were lovely

Best roast in ages. Plenty of decent beers too. Will definitely return
