Pissarro’s – HastingsHad a gorgeous meal. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were ok throughout the meal. Strongly recommend the experience.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaA really enjoyable meal; I have been to Into the Blue before and they always maintain their very high standards. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaJust delightful! Great staff and tasty seasonal food. Recommended!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeLovely shared plates at lunchtime as usual and friendly service. Always a treat! xx
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaQuirky, attractive interior matched by very good food. Impressed.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeThe best, as always. Highly recommend. Last review went through unfinished so it appears service 3/5 absolutely not. It should be 5/5 100% perfect service !
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeAmazing Sardinian food. This really was a brilliant meal from start to finish, great service and a fantastic experience overall. I can't wait to come back
Ancient Grains – EastbourneBooked a table there for lunch on their website and when I arrived I was told that they didn’t know about my booking because they had not checked their email. As a ex landlord the first thing I did when coming in was check my emails for any bookings for the day. Unprofessional.
Barnaby’s Lounge – HastingsWe were greeted by friendly and helpful staff, as the weather was good, we had an outside table. The choice of wine, ale, lager and food were excellent. Service extremely good and food very tasty and good value for money. Another great visit The Globe Inn Marsh!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeMe and my daughter both had the steak. It was cooked perfectly and delicious. All the sides were very tasty and we also had onion rings and calamari which were both great as well. Definitely recommend :)
Pissarro’s – HastingsFriendly welcoming service, great food and wine, nice timely service. Affordably priced.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe booked for Sunday roast and had the sausage, the day special (panada) and the porchetta. Everything was delicious, well seasoned and very tasty. The pork meat was really tender. The vegetables and potatoes were also super tasty. We had some Vermentino wine with the meal and it was extremely refreshing. Carla was a friendly and thoughtful host. I would definitely recommend Ancient Grain for a meal.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneWe had a great meal at the Globe on Monday June 17th. Very friendly greeting by an excellent staff. Menu was great, could have ordered it all. We had the sea bream and the rump steak and both dishes were excellent. The fish was the catch of the day, the steak from a farm whose provenance was clear. Local producers , wonderful food, very well cooked. We were in Rye for a short break, this was a great way to start it. Would definitely return and would recommend the restaurant to anyone. Incidentally the red wine was very good and reasonably priced too
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeI have been to Tge globe many times and it is always consistently excellent. My latest visit didn’t disappoint, excellent food and service once again.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeThe service, food and atmosphere is all great . I love this place and would reccomend to anyone.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFabulous food, we had the seafood sharing platter that came with some chicken & pork belly - all delicious. Finished with Eton mess & the tiramisu - again both lovely. Will definitely be back :-)
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFantastic atmosphere, really friendly and attentive staff. Food was great, but a real shame that at the moment (6/24) they have to rely on outside assistance with this as they don't yet have a resident chef. I'm sure that will change soon. It is a real gem of a place, and another example of the tucked-away, cultural and culinary beauties that this unassuming town has to offer. Long may it last and thrive - and I have decided that I will be returning regularly. Thank you for creating such a fabulous place.
