Our first visit in a number of months was on Easter Sunday. It was good to see the restaurant almost full and it had a great Bistro type atmosphere. It's great to have an exclusively vegan establishment nearby and important to support it. We both enjoyed the food and drinks. The Easter Cheezecake was remarkably good - so much so that someone on a neighbouring table had a second portion. We're looking forward to returning to try the nut roast, since we have both lobbied for one to be added to the menu.

Delicious food. Loved the short sharing menu. Would have happily had more dishes if we had room. Loved the tempura prawns. Hispi cabbage exceptional. Hake cooked perfectly. Beef cheeks tender and melting. Service delightful and attentive. Excellent value for money. Great atmosphere.

What a pleasure- a real restaurant with interesting and well cooked food. Covid sadly interrupted our dining experience here and it has been our loss. Chef added, at my request, a little chilli to my moules - fabulous and my partner found the capers and samphire really enhanced her hake. This is a proper restaurant- you must try it.

Lovely as always! Booked fairly last-minute but got a table, and was able to enjoy a lovely latte, wonderful wine, and beautiful banoffee pie in a glass with my friend. Staff and other customers were superbly friendly as always. I can't wait to go again for a main meal.

I’m so impressed by this lovely little restaurant. Always such a warm welcome. Loving the new wine menu and a great selection of cocktails and mocktails, and the food is terrific. I’m very excited to try everything on the new menu.

First time here since they changed the menu and it did not disappoint! Amazing flavours, friendly staff as always and a cosy atmosphere. Hands down one of the the best seafood restaurants around and all for a very reasonable price. We’ll be back for sure!

Returned to restaurant after a period of 5 years and although the menu format had changed the food was at the same high standard as before very friendly and lovely atmosphere

Its the 2nd time I've been here. Always delicious food and atmosphere. We had crab bhaji as a starter and would have again...unique flavours and presentation. Service is friendly and will definitely go back again.

My second visit here and this time I brought friends. The menu is so varied, and being fully plant based, I didn’t have to waste energy filtering out those with animal parts/secretions! Our table had the corn, cauliflower wings, mozzarella sticks and salmon starters. Mains were steak, roast, and burger. Everything was beautiful presented and tasted delicious. My friends haven’t stopped talking about it since! The service was outstanding from booking to dining. My only regret is not being able to eat more! I wish I could have tried everything ! Highly recommended x

A special restaurant serving mainly seafood and fish but steaks are on the menu to. We chose the small plates menu conducting of scallops large prawn in batter..squid (served with delicious tentacles) and a large bowl of mussels..crusty bed and we chose the curried crispy potatoes as a side..we could have eaten 2 bowls they were so tasty...chips and roast potatoes were an option. All seafood dishes were served with lovely dipping sauces and the mussels cooked in a cream sauce. For pudding we both chose the boniffee which was delicious. Service was great and staff friendly. Would recommend thus restaurant.

A very lucky find whilst trying to find a decent seafood restaurant in the Brighton area for the wifes 70th birthday. Excellent menu and we could have chosen anything on the menu as all looked tempting. We both had a starter of mussels.I had fillet steak and prawns and the wife had monkfish both with a side of fries. All absolutely delicious. A reasonablly priced bottle of wine completed a lovely meal. We don't live local but will certainly head for here next time we're in the Brighton/ Shoreham area. Highly recomended.
