I booked champagne afternoon tea for my mum & Aunties birthday. The sun was shining & the grounds were immaculate. The serve was great, very attentive. The food was delicious and value for money. I'd definitely go back.

Had lunch at Bacchus yesterday for my birthday - it is a few years since we have been - still as good as ever!!! Great food, great service and just very chilled. We'll be back!!!

As a large party everyone enjoyed the food and found the service excellent. Dom was very obliging and demonstrated great customer service. I would definitely recommend the food and service.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The venue is located in beautifully keep gardens/surroundings. Experience made even better by helpful service delivering beautifully prepared food. The staff are a credit to the Mere Court hotel/resturant.

Went on a Sunday after a walk in the area, group of 3 ladies, we had the Sunday lunch, piping hot, all lovely and fresh and tender flavoursome meat. First visit and we would come again. Had to ask for condiments, mint sauce , extra gravy, would be nice for staff to check you have everything.

We love Elmas and would recommend it wholeheartedly. We had an excellent meal there recently and were very impressed with the level of service when we a minor issue arose. It is very popular and the background noise can be loud, making it hard to hear conversation sometimes (this might be a sign of age…). Perhaps they could turn the music down a touch?

Had Sunday lunch at Bacchus yesterday with our son and daughter in law. Her vegan needs were met as promised. She loved actually having a choice. We all agreed the food is out of this world. The service is second to none. Everyone is made to feel special. We have eaten here a few times before and will most definitely come again.

Always first priority to book here when visiting from Yorkshire. Great atmosphere, excellent choice menu, food, service & value. Love it.

Had a lovely traditional afternoon tea here on 20th July. It was very nice and service was good. We had were in a room on our own with doors out to the garden where there was a wedding to be held. Nice place and nice food.

We were a party of 10, all our meals came at the same time, everyone enjoyed their meal, all the food was very tasty! The cocktails were great! The ladies that served us were very polite and attentive. We will 100% be returning
