The Egerton Arms Broxton – ChesterFirst visit last Saturday evening. Although very busy staff friendly. Food very good but unfortunately served on cold plates so food was cold by the time we finished eating. Hopefully, this comment will be noted and rectified by the time we visit again.
Birchwood Spice – WarringtonFantastic Sunday lunch. Roast spectacular with lots of meat and fresh vegetables. Great menu choice for the whole family. Food, Service from the staff & Ambience fabulous. Always have a very warm welcome from Joanne & Staff. Highly recommend
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamFood was delicious roast potatoesc were crispy on the outside and fluffy insde. though the portion of cauliflower cheese ( which was delicious) for 3 people was only the same as the next table had for 2 people Was busier than when we've previously visited The service was very slow and staff didn't raise a smile or interact except for basic questions.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortNever disappoints coming here. The service is always top quality and so is the food! I highly recommend coming here because you find anywhere better in Chester than Carbonara!
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterMeal was lovely and friendly staff
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – Tarporley4 of us enjoyed a wholesome Sunday roast to celebrate my son's 18th. Food was very tasty with wide selection of veg. Decent portions which meant good value for money. I liked that those with not a man-size appetite could order a smaller portion. Staff very helpful and presented to the table a birthday cake with candles that we had popped in earlier in the day. Well done to the whole Egerton Arms team.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonLovely staff and the food was delicious, we had a Sunday lunch, it was all excellent!
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonThe food is great, Andy and his staff are so welcoming and friendly nothing is too much trouble
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyVery nice meal all staff very polite , shall visit again,
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonWe booked. a table for 2, 7.15pm on Thursday. I opted for the cod and chips. Mushy peas and it was one of the nicest bit of fried fish i've had for a long time. The chips were just right and there was no messing around with mushy peas. None of this small portion in a ramakin, but a reasonable 'dollop' on the plate. My partner had the vegetarian casoulette. Presentation was a little basic but the the meal was very good apart from the dumplings which were small and 'heavy'. All in all enjoyable and we will probably dine there again, but we won't rush. Not overpriced. Not noisy. Might have to try the lunch menu, midweek and Sunday
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonWe had a most pleasant experience at Bacchus. Tha atmosphere was perfect with excellent decor, food and service. The waiters were friendly and amusing in just the right way and the food was served with just the right wait between courses. We were very well looked after and look forward to visiting Bacchus again.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldAbsolutely great meal. Look forward to returning when we next visit friends in Chester.
The Egerton Arms Broxton – ChesterFood excellent but thought we had a long wait for each course
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortExcellent food, Staff were friendly and accommodating. Really lovely night.
The Egerton Arms Broxton – ChesterFood was average. Service average and polite. Main concern was what seemed a private party between owner/employees & friends. Unprofessional & total disregard for paying customers. When dining I would expect to be able to hold a conversation without shouting! Not for me again.
