Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordOur local pub so very handy and a nice addition to the village. Service was friendly and efficient with all the pre-ordered food ( we were a party of 12) arriving as per the list. I think the food is as expected for a place with very reasonable prices and all the plates were clean at the end. I didn't notice the atmosphere but am sure it was good and I didn't miss piped music as we were busy chatting.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonAlways a great welcome and wonderful service. The food is always to a very high standard. Our favourite local restaurant.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldNice food a little expensive especially the starters for the size, but the main disappointment was the slow service. I would visit again hoping the service is better and it was a one off occasion.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyWe visited the Ship Inn, Wincle, yesterday with our grandchildren and had a lovely meal in the garden. The fish and chips was excellent, a good size portion for £9.95 and great quality! Service was excellent and we look forward to returning very soon!
The Ship Inn – MacclesfieldAmazing food at a reasonable price. Will definitely be going back. Best Indian food I've had in a very long time.
Birchwood Spice – WarringtonWe’ve been to Elma’s many times and it remains our favourite local restaurant. The food is always cooked to a high standard and this is complimented by friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I would certainly reconsider a visit.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWe went to the lilac cottage for afternoon tapas but ended up having bottomless brunch with cocktails. Excellent value for money the food was great good service and nice atmosphere. Eating out on the back courtyard had a very nice Mediterranean feel to it. Thanks very much to everyone there.
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldGreat atmosphere, fantastic food, super service and friendly.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyBooked as a party of 10 for a colleague leaving, food tasted amazing and the service was excellent. Thank you!
Birchwood Spice – WarringtonTasty food served by welcoming staff in traditional pub setting
The Ship Inn – MacclesfieldReceived the warmest of welcomes from a great receptionist which got us off to a good start. Dined well in the restaurant - food was spot on and the waiter did an impeccable job. I have thought hard and tried to find a negative but I can’t so top marks all round. Earlier in the year we stayed in two 5 star hotels in London - staff at Mere Court could give a lesson or two in how hospitality should be done. Thank you to all concerned for going that extra mile for these 2 very satisfied customers.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordI absolutely love this place. The food, staff and everything about this restaurant is just amazing. I’ve been going there for years and it never disappoints.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyGood food, service excellent. Enjoyed a good lunch with a friend.
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamMy partner & I visited here for tea recently. The main positives for me were: - The main course (chicken kebab) was delicious & a good portion size. My partner had the mixed kebab & thoroughly enjoyed it. Mains also came with a sizeable complimentary side salad. - The decor was lovely & inviting. - Friendly service from the waitresses. Negatives: - We had a ‘sharing platter’ for our starter which was disappointing. Being £15 we expected it to be quite large & ‘platter’ like but it was just 2 chicken wings, 2 small pieces of halloumi, 2 meatballs & 2 small pastry rolls. Wouldn’t buy again. - We visited on a hot day however the restaurant could do with more air con / ventilation as it was very warm in there. - Although the waitresses were friendly the service was very slow & we were waiting a long time for the bill. Overall I would visit again as the main course was delicious but there’s definitely room for improvement.
