Brilliant food, excellent service
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterThis is one of my most favourite restaurants. I recommended to my old school friends and they weren't disappointed. The waiters are charming and attentive and the food excellent. A good lunch was had by us all
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldEverything is perfect at this restaurant. From the staff, the atmosphere and the food. We can’t fault it any way. It’s a beautiful family run Italian. The carbonara is incredible and fresh and the service is 5 stars. We will be back for our yearly visit. Thank you again.
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterOur first visit to Bacchus for a special birthday but it won't be our last. Living in Alderley Edge we have a selection of restaurants but none as good as this, Modern take on English food served with friendly staff, not stuffy or aloof, terrific wine list and Linen napkins!!! What a pleasant find and just down the road, we'll be back. Derek and Joan Wright
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldFood was extremely mediocre. Felt like they were more interested in bigger parties because this is where they would have earned more money. Asked 3 different servers for a bottle of water for the table before we got one. Had to send food back twice. I booked this table over a month in advance for my friends birthday, added a special request regarding bringing a dessert out which they paid no attention to atall. Waste of money and would never recommend anyone to go. Go elsewhere and save yourself the disappointment:)
Elmas Restaurant – LymmExcellent evening meal. Very good service and ambience. Ample choice and well worth a visit.
Bacchus Restaurant – Macclesfieldfriendly staff from the moment we entered could not do enough for us
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordFood was ok. The Catalan Bread wasn’t traditional and made with a tomato sauce which turned the bread soggy so wouldn’t recommend that and would suggest to the restaurant that they change it. It all came out very quickly though but that’s probably because we were the only ones in there. Server polite and friendly. Would like to come back when a bit more atmosphere
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldGood service but flies a problem! Had about 10 of them constantly around the table. Burger was too spicy and hardly any meat. Lamb was lamb thin slices. Overall average of a wetherspoon but more pricey
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortFood and service fantastic. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldGood food but pricey. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyVery interesting food it is nice to have something different. Good service and pleasant atmosphere, Wine markup rather high.
The Salt Bar – MacclesfieldSunday Lunch was the first time we'd been to this lovely pub. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was great and well priced. We will definitely be back and will be bringing our dogs too.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonAlways a pleasure.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortWalked in , sat down , read the menu , saw the prices , left Wow expensive prices . Not being ripped off Shame , used to love this place
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyEnjoyed a night at Carbonara. The food was amazing and fresh full of flavour. The service was impeccable with happy highly skilled waiters. Definitely will be returning for the 4th time!!
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterChristine and Jim have completely turned The Ship around. There is a warm inviting atmosphere when you walk in with great service. The Thursday night Steak Night is a bargain with 2 ribeye steaks and all the trimmings and a bottle of wine for £35.00, and all beautifully cooked. We can't find fault with anything and are always recommending the Ship to our friends.
The Ship Inn – MacclesfieldService was incredibly slow due to a large party in another section of the pub, which we were not made aware of. Left unattended for the majority of the meal and we had to go and get our own drinks at the bar.
