The Carriers Inn – FrodshamWent with friends. A beautiful house, lovely restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff. The afternoon tea was great, 4 different very tasty fillings, brown and white bread both fresh . Warm scone and lots of tea with extra hot water when needed. We then went to the lounge and sat in easy chairs with a coffee and found it hard to make a move to go home. Lovely afternoon on a lovely place with very nice staff.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordWe visited with my elderly father on a Tuesday evening and from start to finish the staff went out of their way to make the experience a pleasant one .Due to my dads mobility issues they swapped our table despite being quite busy . Our server Sarah was lovely and made a point of chatting to my dad and having a laugh with him which he absolutely loved . We had fish and chips and scampi and chips and our food couldn’t be faulted , desserts were all lovely too . We would definetley return due to food and the friendly staff and would highly recommend
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyThe four of us had an excellent meal to celebrate my birthday. Good and wine were great. Service was friendly and efficient. Will obviously be returning ! Because of the awful weather, the restaurant was unusually quiet - hence the lower mark for "atmosphere" . We tried !
Pacino’s – ChesterAs always great service food first class always a lovely evening in there x
Pacino’s – ChesterGood menu and food, excellent service, and -brilliant, this- NO MUZAC so we could talk quietly to one another. Well done!
Spinner and Bergamot – NorthwichExcellent food and afternoon, really enjoyed it . Only critical point is I would suggest serving gravy in a gravy boat as , whilst I love gravy , my food was drowned in gravy which actually reduces the flavours in the food .
Ring O’Bells – FrodshamBeen a customer here for years always had fab meals, but sad to say something has changed went before Christmas and last Sunday and won’t be back, both times had to sit with coat on as it was so cold, before Christmas they said they had forgot to put heating on obviously this wasn’t true. Sunday the Sunday roast here used to be gorgeous, this time was served on what seems like a child’s plate covered in watery gravy, just very average, will say the very young staff where all lovely and worked hard but sitting in a freezing restaurant with average food doesn’t encourage returning customers, such a shame
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortA wonderful Sunday lunch. Fabulous quality roast and fish & chips with fast friendly service. Will not hesitate to book again.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyNo sunday luch ar all we had booked for 4 pm understand it may have been busy, but surley 1 meat coukd be available. We waited 30 mins for a drink no veg with the liver and it was rock hard. Really disapointed
White Lion at Alvanley – Frodsham5 stars
The Coach and Horses – CongletonA meal out whilst visiting family. A great choice once again in a lovely setting with both food and service being excellent. The ladies enjoyed their sunday roasts whilst I went with my usual choice Steak pie. A really enjoyable visit , thank you.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichGreat ambience. Very attentive staff. Absolutely no issue with provision of gluten free options. Excellent standard of void and choice on Sunday lunch menu.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldLovely catch up with friends on Sunday.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyFantastic food, drinks and service would highly recommend Bacchus and will definitely be returning soon!
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldI had a lovely birthday lunch at Bacchus yesterday with my friends. Great food and quiet atmosphere where you can actually hear what everyone is saying. Service is friendly but unobtrusive.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldBrilliant food as usual the steak and ale pie was wonderful. My friend had the cheese and onion pie is was beautiful but portion was too generous. The service was exceptional as per.
The George and Dragon – NorthwichEnjoyed a very pleasant evening at Bacchus. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive without overdoing it. The food is well prepared and presented. I could say good English fare but there is more panache to it than that.
