Absolutely stunning! We visited as group of six on Saturday evening after recommendations for friends and we can say we will definitely be back! The staff were lovely and friendly and offered answers to any questions we had. The food was just stunning, the steak was cooked perfectly for how it was ordered and well worth the money. We all left a little bit on our plates but that was only because the portions are so generous we couldn’t possibly fit anymore in! We will be back sooner rather than later as we are eager to try the Sunday lunch.

Lovely food and good atmosphere.

Stunning refurbishment of the Royal Oak. Surprised at the value of the food and the fish finger sandwich at lunchtime was delicious. Service was good and staff attentive. I’d say looking back at previous reviews there has definitely been an improvement. Will definitely be coming back

My wife and I had never eaten Scandinavian style food before, but we loved our meal here. Tasty food, great service in a lovely relaxed restaurant atmosphere. A great meal.

Spotted thi on TripAdvisor. We were looking for something a little different for a lunch. It was a great choice. The Salt bar is quite cosy and is tucked away in a quiet location down from the main church. The food is definitely interesting. It is basically fairly simple food but the subtle Scandinavian twists mark it out from the crowd. We particularly enjoyed the Scandinavian style meatballs accompanied by a great sauce. We will go back!

Lovely food, great service

First time I had Turkish food. It's lovely. The atmosphere were very good. The 2 downsides are the chairs are a bit too low to the table height and young staff were a bit to keen on taking plates and glasses away.

Went with 4 friends for an evening meal. The food was good The staff were friendly and efficient. However I do not agree with the policy of card payment only. Myself and most other people I have spoken to agree you should be able to pay with cash. This is also not made very clear with 1 sign by the bar and although it states card payment only on the bottom of the website, not everyone reads this before visiting so should this be clearly stated on the Menu ? Hopefully the owners will rethink this and change the policy

This is my third visit and still didn't let me down. Food was great and so was the service. We had the Babba special. Its worth trying if you enjoy meat.

It was a very nice meal, and the atmosphere is great. The only complaint was that the skewered prawns were way over priced - £15! and the olives are apparently 66p each.

Terrific night out. Food amazing. Drinks lovely. Atmosphere is what made it however. Very busy and so a difficult night for the chefs and waiting on staff I can imagine - but they could not do enough. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be going back.
