A lovely Lola with fab food and service - Benedict is a total super star!
The Coach and Horses – CongletonGreat service & lovely food Wine a little overpriced in my opinion.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichThe service was excellent...not polished but attentive. Overall the food was well presented, timely and was good although my liver was woefully over cooked so was dry and tough. Our party of 6 all enjoyed lunch and found the food to be reasonably priced What spoilt the event was the eye-watering cost of the wine!! £28 for a average merlot that had to be sat by the fire until it warmed through, really??? You are a pub that serves good honest pub food, not a gastro pub!
The Poachers Inn – MacclesfieldUsed to be great. Now, middle of the road although food is very well priced.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichFantastic place, right ambience, excellent food and the beer just right. Great menu choice too. Really recommend.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonExcellent food and service, would recommend anybody to have a meal there as staff very friendly and attentive.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortLovely evening. We had ordered from the festive menu which we pre ordered. The food was delicious. The very small issue we had was the starters were served the moment we sat down. We didn’t really have time to speak to one another and the food came. Felt a little rushed. Nevertheless we would definitely book again. Atmosphere and food were great.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWonderful service with lovely touches such as wine decanted and napkin placing. Food delicious. Pleasant surroundings- difficult to hear sometimes as the restaurant was busy and loud . Maybe additional soft furnishings would absorb some of the noise .
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldWonderful pub excellent atmosphere staff were great. Food absolutely fantastic so tasty. And very reasonable prices. Guest ales were good. Was a great evening.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichWe booked at The Poachers Inn for my mum's 60th meal before we went for a Spa day. The staff were so lovely & couldn't do enough for us, from calling to see if there was a specific place we wanted to checking everything was ok as we had a celiac in the group. The atmosphere & food was amazing & we really enjoyed everything in such a warm & welcoming place.
The Poachers Inn – MacclesfieldA lovely afternoon tea with friends, we had a very friendly greeting from Ella who showed us to our table and took our drinks orders. The food came really quickly and was very well presented. There was plenty and a really lovely variety of sandwiches and sweet treats, I loved the little mince pie it was delicious. Scones were very tasty and we ate everything, it was too nice to leave. My only down was the smoked salmon sandwich, had I known it was on there I would have asked for an alternative, none of us really liked smoked salmon. All in all a very tasty afternoon tea in lovely surroundings with very friendly and attentive staff, will definitely come again ❤️
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordExcellent service and meal, lovely atmosphere.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonMy husband and I enjoyed afternoon tea on 9/12/2025 The sandwiches were turkey and stuffing, ham and cheese. There was plenty of sandwiches and all were very tasty. We also enjoyed large pigs in blankets with a dip. Of course the cakes were delicious, carrot, brownie and chocolate plaits and mince pies. Tea/coffee was included. We thoroughly enjoyed our tea and Christmas crackers
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichSuperb Restaurant. Wonderful friendly helpful staff. Great menu with magnificent food. Great Wine and Drinks. Superb Service. Fantastic ambiance and atmosphere. Really good value given the quality. Very helpful in dealing with allergies. Best restaurant by far South of Manchester. Thanks to all staff.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldNice setting, great food (best tiramisu!) Staff very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend!
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWe have been eating at Pacino's for the last 30 years. Standard of food and service has not faulted in all those years. We used to visit Pacino's those 30 years ago nearly every month. But in recent years it has been less frequent due to some ill health. But as written earlier the standards have never dropped.
Pacino’s – ChesterWe enjoyed an 11 year olds birthday for a group of 8. Good choice of delicious food which was very reasonably priced. Service was excellent, they looked after the birthday cake which we brought with us and presented it to the table as requested The atmosphere was enhances by the log fire. Excellent value for money
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamWe are a walking group who chose this year to have our Christmas walk followed by lunch at the Poachers The staff were a delight to work with from our first enquiry They devised a tempting menu of main courses for us to circulate to members. The result was that 34 of us had a self serve meal on 8th December The unanimous verdict was delicious food with plenty to eat and served by fantastic staff who couldn’t do enough for us and great value Many thanks for a wonderful lunch- I think we will be back next year
