We went on a Saturday night food was nice however the seafood claypot should be called tomato claypot as there was very little fish in it but lots of tomatoes. 3 prawns and 3 muscles that were pea size, Very dark inside and to be honest over priced. We won’t be going back!! Pestos is much better.

After finishing our meals and having our plates cleared, despite being seated near the bar and having the two staff passing regularly, we weren’t offered a dessert menu or asked if we wanted more drinks. After about 20 minutes wait, we went to the bar, paid and left. The only explanation given was that they were trying to sort the fire alarm which kept going off. They managed to serve the other tables beyond us with food and drinks. It wasn’t all that busy.

It is good value, though the wine prices seem high for a pub. The service was great; the ambience would be really so much better if they made the lighting more cosy at the far end of the room. A few lamps or candles would do the trick.
