Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldCame to Mere court for Afternoon tea. Greeted by the pleasant lady on reception. Taken to our table by a lovely server. Given a choice of sandwiches. Setting was beautiful. When the cake stand came it was laden with sandwiches, scones, tarts and cakes. Given a choice of tea or coffee and a glass of prosecco. Food was delicious, would certainly return and would highly recommend. All staff were fantastic.

The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichIt's been a while since we last came to The White Lion and the first time for my parents. We all absolutely loved it! My Dad enjoyed the chicken special with haggis mash. Service was friendly and the choice of ales was great too. One tiny bit of criticism would be to have a runny yolk for the ham, egg & chips, both my eggs were hard but still enjoyed it. We will be coming back.

We were seated in a fabulous room overlooking the pond and fountains and beautiful gardens. We had the room to ourselves. The food was beautiful, the service was excellent without being intrusive. A most enjoyable afternoon in fantastic surroundings.
