The Mote – Port IsaacGood and Bad Starters were good - mains not so much. Partners main came out missing prawns which we had to go down and ask them to add. The grilled squid was as rubbery as it gets the roasted croutons were bits of stale sliced bread that look like they were leftovers from a previous meal with a dash of balsamic thrown on for good measure. Asked them to remove the service charge (which they did) and mentioned this was due to issues with the meal, they didnt seem to care
The Mote – Port IsaacLovely food and a great setting. Also the staff are fantastic.
Bellini’s – WadebridgeFood was excellent and menu had great choices. It was an exceptionally hot day when we visited yet the service and food was amazing. Thank you to all the staff.
Olive Tree – BudeWe booked a table at the Olive Tree thinking that it would give us, if nothing else , a much needed respite from the really hot midday sun. Wow! The food was excellent, well worth the money, smashing atmosphere and really attentive and polite staff members.
Olive Tree – BudeI booked a table for dinner on a Monday evening for my two boys and myself. When we arrived it was quite quiet so we was given a choice as to where we would like to sit. The barman was very polite, friendly and attentive and gave us the menu. We ordered three main courses at the bar (fish and chips, gammon and sirloin steak) The food was served in good time and the quality was excellent. The food was hot, served on hot plates and was obviously freshly prepared. After our main courses we decided to have dessert ( apple crumble and custard, Eton mess and homemade sticky toffee pudding and custard) yet again the quality was excellent. One small criticism of the apple crumble would be that it would have been nicer served in a dish as was the sticky toffee pudding. It was served in a small square dish leaving no room to pour the custard, so I had to use the plate that the coup for the eton mess was server on. Overall it was pleasant surprise to get such excellent food with good service at an affordable price.
The Black Swan – HelstonI have been following these guys since they started renovations and when they opened and couldn’t wait to try it out. I have to say it was superb. I had specials monk fish starter and ragu and my husband had the same start and a burger. It was cooked beautifully and the service was excellent. Lily looked after our every need. She was lovely. We will be back.
The White Hart – LudgvanLovely place to eat with a nice atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. Unfortunately, food wasn't to the same standard. Seafood linguine was quite dry and rather tasteless which was disappointing, particularly at £28 per portion.
The Mote – Port IsaacThe steak on a stone is the best steak I’ve ever had. All the food is excellent. Great drinks selection. The staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming. I could not recommend this place highly enough. It is fantastic in all areas.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeAlways great service and good food
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonFab food really friendly staff
The White Hart – LudgvanWe arrived late in the evening around 8:30. The staff made us welcome and made sure we were looked after despite the kitchen closing at 9. We both had the pie, my husband asked for sides to be adjusted due to a medical condition and they easily accommodated him offering alternatives. The pie was delicious, tender meat with thick and tasty gravy. The chocolate delice was rich and decadent. Cheesecake sweet and creamy. Breakfast was also well cooked with a good variety on offer. We both had hot breakfast where they used good quality ingredients that was cooked well. No grease in sight. Previous reviews have mentioned a high price point but I would say this is definitely reflected in the quality of the ingredients and preparation of the meals. Worth the money for the fresh produce. All in all a fantastic meal and fantastic staff.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeSecond time in a week as we enjoyed the first visit so much
The Mote – Port IsaacAlways a joy. Food and service are excellent and we just love coming to the Olive Tree.

The Black Swan – HelstonGreat food and service for our party of 10. Thank you for making gluten free fish and chips for me. I would definitely recommend The Black Swan
The Black Swan – HelstonGood meal an very friendly service, especially from Mishka on her first night. Bit short on veggie options, but otherwise good.
