Food was mediocre. Service friendly but waited ages for main course.

I had been recommended The Pheasant Inn by my bridge partner and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect place to enjoy a Mum/daughter evening while the men in her family were all away. I will be back.

We only go to the Pheasant once a year on our annual Keswick visit and have done so for some years. The food and service is always excellent with a wide choice and plentiful amount and very good value for money. We've never had a bad experience and would thoroughly recommend them but make sure that you book first.

We have visited the Pheasant every time we have come to Keswick and it has always lived up to expectations. They looked after our party of 8 so well : welcoming, genuinely friendly and efficient. I had barbary duck, which was tender and tasty. We will return!

Ate in the dining room on Saturday night. Lovely old room, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We had their pie - awesome. Nice beer as well.
