Pheasant Inn – KeswickAte here Saturday evening after meaning to book for a long time. It was everything we were wanting and more. The pub was bouncing with people and even with that the staff were lovely, friendly and nothing was too much of an issue. The food was stunning and you could tell it was all 100% homecooked. We will return again very soon.

Pheasant Inn – Keswick3 of us ate here on our last night away, friendly greeting at the bar and taken through to our table which was in a cosy back room. All 3 meals were excellent, scampi, sirloin steak and lamb Henry. Portions were large. Puddings also very nice. The staff were all really friendly and efficient. Our only regret was not coming here earlier in the week. We will be back I hope, thank you

Hubby loved the steak! Staff very welcoming and attentive. Lovely old building but foyer needs a paint as peeling badly.
Glen Rothay Hotel and Badger Bar – RydalDisappointing yesterday which is very surprising as not the norm. Waiter was rude and basic didn’t treat us politely and didn’t interact at all no one checked if the food was ok or if we needed anything else I had to pay at the counter as no one came to the table at all once food delivered. The food was tasteless too when the second time there this week and the first time it was amazing
