Booked Sunday for late dinner, no beef left so we both had the roast ham which was the excellent along with the veg which was cooked differently.Service was prompt and the staff were pleasant and polite.Would return next time were in the area.

Masons Arms – WindermereOk the weather outside was terrible but the welcome inside La Mezzaluna quickly warmed us up. After an afternoon of shopping we were ready for a nice restaurant to relax in. La Mezzaluna didn’t disappoint. it’s a small bustling family run place with really excellent food at great prices. My wife took the recommended seabass which was outstanding and I enjoyed a great pasta dish. Don’t miss out on the bruschetta or focaccia mista which are on a par with the best we’ve had. The Puglian red wine was a real treat! We’re already talking about when we can make our next visit and hopefully the weather will be better!

It’ll definitely become a regular haunt for us when we travel from Dumfriesshire for shopping trips. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and very efficient.
