La Mezzaluna – CarlisleThis is just one of the best places you could ever wish to dine at. Simple enjoyable food, perfectly presented. The owners are ever present, welcoming us as part of the "family". Our 10 year old, who is incredibly fussy, stuffed himself so full that he was uncomfortable on the journey home. A 65 mile round trip just for the meal was well worth it and we'll be back next week before a concert.
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleThree of us had a meal on Friday night, we all had different main meals and they we all enjoyed the food very much, lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and polite. I would definitely go back.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleVisited here on Saturday with a party of ten ladies food was lovely staff were fabulous and very helpful looking forward to visiting again
Sage and Vine – CarlisleAbsolutely spot on. Would recommend and will visit again
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleThis was our first visit and unfortunately will not return. The young lady was run off her feet, trying to do 10 jobs at once but was very helpful and really tried her best to accommodate l. The chef that brought out the food was obnoxious and off hand. Food was very poor, cold and expensive for what we got. Will definitely not retum or recommend
Queens Head Inn Tirril – PenrithThe food and service were impeccable as ever. Sage and Vine, alongside its sister restaurant, La Mezzaluna, is the best place to eat in Carlisle.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleSecond time we've been to The Pheasant and I'm sure we'll be returning when we have a third short break in Keswick. A bit of a walk from the Camping and Caravan Club site by the lake, but well worth it. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickMe & 3 friends ate dinner at the Pheasant Inn last night. My friends had never eaten there before. They were all very happy with the food, service & value for money. We can highly recommend the Lakeland Beef pie, Venison Bourguignon, Apple & Gooseberry crumble & Sticky Toffee pudding. We will definitely return! Thanks
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWent with my husband for a birthday meal. I had the mushroom risotto and it didn’t disappoint. My husband had a roasted chicken breast in a white wine sauce with roasted veg and roasted potatoes he said he would recommend it as it was very well cooked and the flavours were perfect. The restaurant was quite busy but we didn’t feel rushed. Service was very good all staff friendly and welcoming.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleWe had been told how good Adriano's was. We travelled from Kent to Carlisle for my graduation and pre booked this restaurant purely from the recommendation. Booking was easy and on arrival we were quite early for out reservation but there was no issue and we were seated immediately. The restaurant is lovely and all the staff were attentive, happy and very helpful. The food was probably the best Italian food we have had. We all said the flavours and presentation was amazing. We had a laugh with the staff and enjoyed some cocktails. We had travelled a long way and if you are ever in Carlisle I would highly recommend if you like Italian food that you visit here. We are all sad it is so far away.
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleGreat food and great service. Very friendly staff and the food was superb. Loved the home made bread and the beef was to die for. Didn’t have a pizza but they looked amazing! Will be back.
