Staff always friendly . Polite and very helpful . Relaxed atmosphere. One of our favourite places .

We booked for midday and were immediately seated. Our drinks orders were taken shortly after. The Pepsi machine broke so there was a delay on receiving drinks, but for an understandable reason. We ordered three small plates and one pizza. The small plates came out relatively quickly - they were all lovely. The pizza then arrived, but after we had already started eating it, a server said we had received the wrong one, which is a little worrying for anyone with intolerances or allergies. We ordered the Nduja Pizza but received the Buratta instead. The pizza itself was nice, but the buratta cheese gave both of us stomach aches all afternoon, and ultimately is not what we ordered. A lovely atmosphere and okay for the price, though there could have been a reduction following their mistake.

We got vouchers as a wedding present and went on Saturday 3rd January. Service was impeccable and the food was divine. Will definitely return.

We had a News Years Eve meal, I’ve got say the Food was exceptional, the Fillet Steak was cooked to perfection for us we asked for medium rare with a slightly charcoal finish and it was perfect, also the service and staff were so friendly and helpful!!! Would definitely Highly Recommend it, and not miss ever going there then next time staying in Penrith !! BRILLIANT!!!

Another fabulous meal, we shared the bread and dips which were delicious and then had pizza. Yum. Also had a pistachio espresso martini - so impressed I ordered a bottle of pistachio liqueur ❤️

Excellent food , in a wonderful ambience . A truly excellent British pub.

An excellent New Year's Day lunch. Great food, wide-ranging, quality drinks choice and top notch service from staff. Definitely a five star establishment. As a vegetarian I did find the choice rather limited and the soup course - which I would normally expect to be universal - was not veggie friendly. An observation which is not enough to put us off returning but maybe an additional veggie main might be considered? All-in-all a very pleasant dining experience. Thank you.

Excellent restaurant. One of our local favourites. Never had a bad meal in all the times we have been there. Like to try all the different dishes which are superb. Owners are really nice and the service is excellent.
