Wide and well thought out menu catering for all tastes & reasonably priced . Well cooked & delicious food, served promptly and courteously by the most friendly front of house staff. Food was good and very well presented in artistic style. Personally I found the TDH menu choices a bit limited for my taste but obviously the menu changes all the time.

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereMy wife and myself were staying in Grasmere for a couple of nights and whilst walking through the village early morning had a look at the menu which was very appealing, I had made a mistake when booking through app, when I phoned to change night the girl I think her name was Amanda changed my reservation without any problem, we had a great Night, food was amazing, staff Alex and Jenny nothing was to much trouble, highly recommended.

Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithThis was our third visit to the Pheasant. Each time, we have enjoyed the food, but the service is very slow in spite of the restaurant not being very busy. We waited over 45 minutes and the table of Six to the side if us , including children, walked out!!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe had a lovely meal at Lewis's last Saturday. I had sea bass and my husband had lamb. I then had the treacle and lemon curd tart and my husband had the cheese board. It was all delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.
