Our favourite restaurant in Carlisle. Food is always amazing and the atmosphere is nice with the small size of the place. Service was excellent.

The afternoon tea was delicious, all homemade and well presented. My Mum who has certain food intolerances was also happy with delacies.

Booked a table for 6pm Friday. Welcomed and taken to table for drinks order. Food was beautifully presented and tasted as good. Great value for money and will be definately be back for more of the same.

After looking forward to the bake house opening up went yesterday and it was everything like I knew it would be, brilliant

We were gifted our stay as part of a 50th wedding Anniversary 3-day road trip gifted by our family! It truly was an experience we would NOT have missed - the staff, venue, food, ambience and experience was truly magical ... the only thing there was no guarantee of was the weather, which was abysmal - but that didn’t deter us from having a wonderful time! Thank you all - it was truly superb

What a fabulous experience. This place claims to be unlike any other - and thankfully it is. Relaxed yet with high standards; homely and yet professional. We loved it. Menu was limited when we visited the first week after lockdown not least because of the small number of guests, and staff were getting used to serving guests once more. The quality of the food was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend it. Local produce, local staff, creative menu and wonderful ambiance.

Absolutely 5star service, was pleasure to sit in new seating area and enjoy delicious freshly made food. Well done all Can't wait to come back.

What a transformation, the place really has come to life. Great food as before but now lovely seating area's inside & out. Well priced menu & then shopping at Charnley's afterwards, well done all.

Had a lovely birthday breakfast yesterday. The food was incredible! So good that we ordered a luxury afternoon tea to carry on the celebrations at home. We absolutely loved the decor and new build outside, perfect for a rainy day! I can’t wait to visit again.

We loved our food and the service was wonderful. We were disappointed however to be say in a corner looking down an alley. We booked after seeing the lovely outside space and we were the furthest table away. It’s felt very disappointing. Make sure you ask for a good table!

Visited with a friend for breakfast in the new outdoor area, food absolutely lovely, lots of good choices and outside made cosy with blankets! Staff lovely and very quick service, couldn’t say no to taking home some gorgeous cakes too! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
