Horse and Farrier – PenrithWe had a lovely meal, the service was exceptional, staff were friendly and very attentive without being over bearing. The food was absolutely delicious we each had different meals and loved each one of them. The drink selection is as good as ever We have been coming for the last 3-4 years and will continue to for many more years.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe moved to area recently and have eaten out in many restaurants over the area. This is hands down our favourite restaurant. The food is phenomenal.. my goodness! Service is great and it's a lovely atmosphere. We have been 4 or 5 times now in the last 2 months and it's such a treat every time. Great work!
Horse and Farrier – PenrithWow, excellent in every way! Friendly, efficient staff, great food, what more could you want! A great way to spend an evening on our Silver Wedding Anniversary
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereLovely food and Staff are lovely very polite and friendly would recommend it not to be missed and had a lovely time
Sage and Vine – CarlisleWe came in on Saturday night for the later sitting. We did have to wait a few minutes for our table, which we didn’t mind at all, and the staff were very apologetic for the wait. Anyway the wait was worth it. The food was exceptional. We both had Sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection. So nice to get some fresh mixed vegetables along with the chunky chips, mushroom and vine tomatoes.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereVisited this popular Bistro many times this last two years. Always found the staff very attentive and obliging and the food excellent. No different this year. Been twice already and tried most of the menu.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereBooked a table for five of us for 8pm and our table was not ready, this is not a huge problem but we felt awkward standing around by other diners. The starters were nice, although arrived before we’d finished with the bread and olives. Three of us had sea bass with what were supposed to be sauté potatoes. The potatoes were large boiled in their skins and slightly brown on one side, not sautéed. The vegetables were overcooked and not very exciting. The staff were very pleasant but the meal itself was disappointing and not worth the money we paid.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereFriendly, knowledgeable staff and flexible enough to allow an extra guest. The food was delicious and attractively presented. This is our third visit, but we will be back!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereAnother super meal and evening at the Pheasant Inn. We’ve been visiting for over 20 years and the Pheasant Inn has always maintained very high standards. Great atmosphere and a very varied menu.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe celebrated my Grandad's 80th birthday here on Monday night with a wonderful meal. The food was hearty and delicious; he'd requested a beef pie for his birthday dinner and it ticked all his boxes! The staff were so friendly and warm, chatting to us and passing on their congratulations. This pub is a real gem and we'll definitely be back when we're up this way again!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickBrilliant restaurant. Food amazing and service quick and friendly. Would highly recommend.
