The Two Hares – GlossopReally lovely venue. We were sat in the quieter area of the cafe and cannot fault the surroundings. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the food. The quiche was perfectly edible but lacked taste and for a cheese and onion quiche there was barely any onion. Very generous portions, salad very fresh but mainly consisted of rocket which none of us like much. The cheese sandwich had a very sparse amount of cheese. The ham and cheese panninis were ok. It didn’t spoil our day, the food just didn’t really meet our expectations. My nephew also wanted a cake for pudding but the queue to order was extremely long out the door at this point so he didn’t bother.
