As usual we had a great Sunday meal. Service was as usual very good. Highly recommend this place.

Really lovely venue. We were sat in the quieter area of the cafe and cannot fault the surroundings. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the food. The quiche was perfectly edible but lacked taste and for a cheese and onion quiche there was barely any onion. Very generous portions, salad very fresh but mainly consisted of rocket which none of us like much. The cheese sandwich had a very sparse amount of cheese. The ham and cheese panninis were ok. It didn’t spoil our day, the food just didn’t really meet our expectations. My nephew also wanted a cake for pudding but the queue to order was extremely long out the door at this point so he didn’t bother.

Always a pleasure to eat at Baileys. Excellent food and great service as usual. Steve is always friendly & welcoming. My steak was so tender , with a wonderful creamy, peppercorn sauce. My husband had cheese and onion pie with chips, which he enjoyed very much. This restaurant is one of our favourites in Buxton.

Myself and my partner came to Baileys last night to celebrate his birthday, we had the Chateau Brion and it was cooked to perfection (medium) its the 1st time we have eaten there, eventhough we live locally and we will definitely be back again, especially as I need to try the desserts on offer. Staff were very friendly and attentive and we weren't rushed at all.

Friendly and welcoming. Very attentive staff. Meals ok but not brilliant.

I started coming here during the Gilbert & Sullivan Festival last year and was so impressed that I came back this year. Unfortunately (for me) they have since changed the menu so that what I had last year (I think that it was salmon) was no longer there. I had the Chicken Supreme which was fine, although a little bit 'fatty' (for my taste) but the sauce was very nice and the Staff are attentive but not obtrusive. Two more visits to go (this coming week) so let's see how they do! It's rather hot in the window if the sun is shining, but this is a minor quibble. If you eat here, I doubt that you will be disappointed.

Very pleasant cafe with friendly service and good food. The menu is simple but good. The salad had balsamic dressing poured on it though, which I think should be presented in a jug, or a choice of dressing offered.

My husband and I choose Baileys restaurant after good reviews online. We were not disappointed as they were spot on. Friendly efficient service in a pleasant upstairs dining room. I chose the cod loin with Parmesan mash and pickled fennel. A total revelation! Loved it. Whilst we were too full to try any of the famous pudding, we will definitely be back when in Buxton again.

The steak was superb and venison pie very tasty. Service was excellent and the background playlist just right for the time and atmosphere.

My son and I enjoyed a beautiful meal before we went to Buxton Opera House for the matinee performance of HMS Pinafore by Gilbert & Sullivan on Saturday. We had a great day altogether, selecting the larger of the two options of fillet steak for our meal proved to be one of the highlights, it was the best steak ive had in a very long time and the sides didn't disappoint either. An extremely enjoyable meal all round, excellent staff and venue complete the experience, well done to all concerned ! So enjoyable that ive just booked again for lunch before we go to see The Last Laugh at the opera house later this month

Baileys never disappoints, for both quality of food, service and atmosphere. We live in Buxton and enjoy eating here, also it is our first choice for when we have friends visiting. Great live music on some nights too. Looking forward to next time. Rob and Michelle

We had a gorgeous meal at Bailey’s bar and restaurant. I have coeliac disease and there were many gf options and gluten free adaptable dishes. The staff were clued up on this too. The service was great and we weren’t left waiting too long. I had the lamb with katsu sauce and it was delicious. I would 100% recommend
