A traditional country pub
Bridge Inn – Okehamptonwe went here for a birthday treat and were treated to a great night! nothing was too much trouble for the staff or management and they played a fanfare, happy birthday song and cliff richards "congratulations" while they brought the cake out. we will be back.
Frankie and Bennys – Plymouthwent again in june 2007, very busy, managed to get a table had fantastic fish & chips, huge portion of fish, staff very friendly, prices still very reasonable, nice choice of beers, highly recommend going here if in Brixham
Blue Anchor The – BrixhamWonderful friendly staff and the food was greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Would definitely come back
York Inn – ExeterMe and my boyfriend came here after reading good reviews on this website, we had homemade burgers which were quite nice but should be for £23 for 2 burgers 1 pint and a soft drink!
Blues Bar and Grill – PlymouthI am not sure that I can add to what has already been said below but I think the combination of food, wine, presentation, ambiance and most of all staff were outstanding. I have eaten all over the world in many top restaurants and this is right up there with the best of them.
Chloe’s Restaurant – PlymouthThis pub has just come under new management. There was a warm and friendly feel to the pub with definite areas for the restaurant and bar areas. There is a pool table and dart board in the bar area and gardens with spectacular views to the rear. Dogs are also welcome in the bar area and outside as long as they are on a lead, which suited us well. Thank you for the fantastic experience, we will come again.
Mary Tavy Inn – TavistockThank you very much for a lovely meal! The whole family really enjoyed it! We'll definitely see you soon!
Waterside Bistro – TotnesWoah! What a meal we had! That was the best confit duck I had in years! The French chef was brilliant! And the service very friendly! We loved it! See you soon!
La Fourchette Brasserie – TotnesThis is the second time we have been to Chloe's and the experience has got even better. The quality of food, service, ambience and presentation that they offer for £30 (3 courses) is quite outstanding. The food is exquisite, the taste amazing and the presentation of each course is exceptional. Most highly recommended.
Chloe’s Restaurant – PlymouthWhile on holiday in Hele Valley came across Hele Billy's and found the food and the staff good. We ate there on several occasions and also just popped in for a drink and a few games of pool. Great since the no smoking ban came into force and the place has been steam cleaned. Nice atmosphere
Hele Billys – IlfracombeLovely food, but we felt we paid a lot for the restaurant's reputation.
Oyster Shack The – KingsbridgeI just have to say how good this place really is. From the moment we drove down the drive way to the moment we departed. The tall, good looking Restaurant Manager was an excellent host and chose a delightful wine that complinented our food perfectly. Well worth a visit or two!
Buckland-Tout-Saints – KingsbridgeGreat restaurant owned by Barbara and Simon since December 2005, assisted by daughters Farah and Maxine. Many home made dishes, freshly cooked and great quality. Relaxed atmosphere and good fun. Only a small place so make sure you book at weekends.
Hele Billys – IlfracombeThis restaurant is excellent if you like home cooked food the menu is fairly extensive. If you have children this is perfect as they have an indoors and an outdoors play area.
Cat and Fiddle Inn – ExeterThis has to be the best fish and chips i have ever tasted. From what i could see the owners know there business inside out and back to front and run it to perfection. We stay in Coombe Martin regularly and never miss going down to Braunton at least once to visit Squires during our holiday. FANTASTIC
Squires Fish Restaurant – BrauntonYuuuummmmmmmyyyyyyyyyy. Fantastic food and the service was great too. Will definitely be visiting again soon
Hele Billys – IlfracombeService was great, smiley faces all round! Definitely go back again for the lasagne! Pub was clean and tidy and toilets were hygienic. Definitely recommend!!!
