Was looking forward to eating here after all the positive reviews but left rather disappointed. All the food was brought up together. My friend enjoyed the mussels but the pork in my pork secreto was tough and chewie. The garlic prawns I thought were tasteless and sanitised and flavourless.We were also charged £6.50 each for bread surely double an acceptable amount. A pleasant venue but issues need attention

Third visit and another excellent meal. Very accommodating re allergies, good service and freshly prepared food that is always hot. Cannot fault it!

Moved to Goodrington 9 weeks ago and just found this place, had a fantastic breakfast which was super and the view is also great, had Take-Away the day after which was also superb, this will be a favourite of our now :-)

Always love coming here. The vibe is infectious, the service first class and the food is delicious. Last night was no exception, although the hubby whinged he would have liked more salmon and sauce in his pasta! Fabulous waitress..so professional and attentive.

A perfect location on the Hoe front for a relaxing al fresco meal. We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes - and we had a few! Hard to choose a favourite. Will be back!

While a lovely looking pub from the outside that would make you want to go in and have a drink it was still a big surprise as to just how good the food was. Excellent service from friendly staff, good wine list, varied menu ( there will be something for everyone) it’s just nice food done well. Heartily recommended.

We had dinner there for our wedding anniversary. For the first time last night.The food was excellent and my husband truly enjoyed his calzone. I loved my meatball starter. The sauce was divine. And their garlic bread was outstanding. We're going back there for sure. Oh yes, the service was extremely good as well.

Had lunch with my wife and friends, even though it was a hot day we opted for the carvery which was very nice Good quality and selection of meat, and great choice of vegetables

Went for dinner with friends. Give a table of our choice, presented with menu and drinks order taken. All the servers were very pleasant and smiling. Food ordered, which came promptly, was very good and hot. Although the menu is good, it would be useful if smaller portions can be ordered. My wife had a Ceaser salad and it was massive, we hate waste, but she could only eat half of it. It would have been nice if a staff member first of all thanked us for the tip we left, then bid us goodnight.

Had a lovely Visiting 6/7/25. Food was lovely Good portions excellent value for money and we were well looked after by the patron. Will definitely return when next in Paignton

Fantastic Sunday dinner - very dog friendly too

I took my partner here last Sunday and it was an amazing experience. The place was very clean and tidy, the view was amazing and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The menu has huge variety and all portions were very generous. We're both Vegan and it felt like we had such a large choice of food and drink, with everything clearly labelled. I very much look forward to coming here again.

Meal with friends. Had a great time and look forward to visiting again. Two of us had pasta dishes, one pizza and one risotto. All well cooked and attractively presented. Good dessert and icecream- a small suggestion for improvement would be a crisper topping on the creme brulee. Overall very pleased.

Had a Sunday carvery, great choice and it was all lush , great friendly service , a must visit
