Not good. Waitress was very pleasant but food disappointing. Scampi was underdone/squishy, peas overcooked-clearly everything was frozen. Hardly a restaurant, more of a pub that does food-and not very well!

The Harbour Inn – SeatonNice little restaurant. Attentive staff and very tasty food. Only gripe is that there is very little choice on the menu if you don't want meat or fish...a few more vegetarian options would be great and would make us want to return!
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterDinner taken when staying overnight at the inn. Well prepared and cooked (fish and chips for me, venison for my wife). However, I struggled with the generous portions and was obliged to leave some, which I hate doing. Service was good and staff pleasant. Nice setting with views over the valley.
The Poltimore Inn – South MoltonThe staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We were four for lunch and the meal was delicious.
The Poltimore Inn – South MoltonMonday night offer £11.95 for a pizza or pasta, fabulous food. The Calzone was huge and the Linguine pescatore was delicious. Great value.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterCame for the 2pm carvery (two sittings first one 12 pm ).most of the popular vegetables had run out and turkey gone . Surely you would reprovision for a second sitting. I had lobster thermidore it must have been in the warmer since 12 and was impossible to distinguish between lobster and cheese if the family had not been there I would have sent it back. On paying I was asked if the meal was enjoyable I explained about the lobster and the reply was oh sorry!
The Harbour Inn – SeatonHad our first meal at this great pub, food was excellent and will definitely be back.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterGreat location and a very friendly pub. Great choice on the menu. Food was lovely and great service.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterBooked a pre theatre meal at 6:00pm - pub wasn't too busy at that stage. Service was friendly and professional and the food was really good - we ordered a steak and a burger and both were very well cooked. The steak came with excellent hand cut thick chips whilst the burger had smaller skin on fries but they were also very good. Shared a very nice chocolate mousse for dessert. There's a good wine list although some of the wines on it are quite expensive. By the time we were leaving the place was getting pretty busy. We'll definitely be back!
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWhat a find! Such a delightful Italian restaurant in a Devon town. Our food was delicious and service was excellent. I really recommend it.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterExcellent food, great view and good service as always
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthFood was perfect and absolutely delicious! The ambience and views took my breath away and the service was flawless! Highly recommend and would definitely go back!!!
Upper Deck Bistro – PaigntonWe stayed at The Poltimore Inn (in the Violet Lodge) for a weekend. On both nights we had supper at the Inn. I had the vegetarian lasagne on Friday and the Butternut Squash Crumble on Saturday: both dishes were really tasty. My partner had the lamb shank with mint gravy which he said was delicious. There was a friendly welcome from the bar staff when we arrived and there were lots of locals enjoying a drink both inside and outside the pub. We will definitely stay at The Poltimore Inn again.
The Poltimore Inn – South MoltonOur new favourite pub! Superb food and excellent beer in a really lovely and atmospheric building.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterA definite 5 star! This is a difficult review, we almost don't want to tell you how wonderful our experience was - we almost want to keep this place a secret for ourselves! As soon as we stepped in the door the experience started with excellent hosting. Sitting down for our meal and experiencing the starters made us aware that our food had been prepared by someone special. The standard was at another level all the way through the meal. Two very happy customers! We highly, highly recommend The Hour Glass
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterGood atmosphere and lamb shank was excellent
