Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthMy daughter, Amanda Williams, was amazed and delighted to receive the gift box containing magazines, offers, hand-written note and of course, the gift voucher. She and her husband will enjoy coming to see you in August. Regards, Vanessa Edworthy
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterRoy & I had the most amazing time today on the wine safari - Ben was a wonderful host and we’re at a loss as to decide which element was our favourite as the extremely generous measures of wine, cider & G&Ts slid down way too easily and the food was absolutely delicious - added to that, your premises (inside & outside) are stunning. We’ll be recommending to all of our friends & family & definitely return for a winter event.
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterWe drove past The Harbour Inn a couple times on our way to visit the seafront town of Seaton from our lodge and it looked very appealing from the road. After investigating the menu on the website I found the booking very easy with lots of convenient times for a Wednesday evening . On arrival we were invited to take any table we we wanted, but the weather was so lovely we opted to sit outside in the large garden. I was slightly worried the service might be affected if not indoors, but the two young ladies who served us through out were very attentive it was impressive one apologised for a slight minor delay, but I must say that coming out to check with us that our meal was exceptional in my mind. The food we ordered came out hot and cooked perfectly, we both loved the arancini (best of all); and the duck scotch egg and scallops as our small plate starters, all were surprisingly good sized portions. The cod was fresh and very tasty, loved the light batter! My husband was impressed by the quality of the beef (rump) steak. Thank you for a great experience will definitely will recommend to anyone I book a to travel this side of Devon.
The Harbour Inn – SeatonKenton Park remains the destination for whiling away an afternoon. We had booked this visit in May, following another great meal. The occasion? Nothing, other than it being the weekend and there is no better way to spend time with friends. The service was as good as it’s ever been, friendly, knowledgeable and not rushed. The food, plentiful well presented and delicious. The atmosphere, like being in the Mediterranean overlooking the vines and the cost well worth the time, expertise and skill of the cooks and staff. Kenton Park retains its charm and quality and continues to be the destination for our summers. Its success is that at its core they provide great value food in beautiful surroundings. We look forward to booking future visits, introducing more friends to its delights and perhaps some of the tours that they offer, showcasing their fabulous wines and delicious foods.
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterWhat an amazing place! We booked the wine safari and it was wonderful, far exceeded our expectations. The food and wine were excellent and our host Ben was friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting among the vines was really enjoyable and there was plenty of wine, cider and gin to sample.
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterExcellent food, lovely setting, great staff
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterGreat food - had to wait a long time for food though
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthHad whole crab with salad, meal was fab, some of the meals we felt were a little over priced. Staff were wonderful and really helpful
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterGreat food. great service, my second visit and not dissapointed highly recommended
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterExcellent food and service. Lovely setting overlooking the vines. Paul was super attentive as always
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterMy brother and sister in law were visiting from Germany and I thought Kenton estate would be a wonderful experience as it has always been a favourite of ours. Sadly we were very disappointed. We felt as though we were a nuisance for being there. The restaurant was very noisy and several loud crashes in the bar area made us all jump. The lamb sharing meal was delicious. The lamb kebab was full of gristle and inedible. The Camembert was good but the pile of bread on the platter was hard and stale and I couldn’t eat it. The menus are very difficult to work out. The wine as always was great. Such a shame as it was a celebration day that turned sad.
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterLovely tasty treat breakfast and a warm welcome from attentive staff. It is a little expensive but great for a special occasion. Will be back :)
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterVery poor food. Service pleasant and friendly
The Harbour Inn – SeatonAmazing lunch, the shared lamb was outstanding, my husband has been a chef and taught it for years, he knows the industry very well. It was truly recommended. Just a few things I would like to mention. The menus are definitely hugely too big, I couldn’t see the menu, and ask my husband to read it to me. As I couldn’t fit it on the table. But that’s it. So nice to have a vine yard and their amazing wine to drink, well done. And thank you. Value for money definitely good value Service was great too Thank you
