Perfect lunch in a glorious setting! We visited for Mother’s Day and dined in one of the pods. 8 of us including 2 young children. We were so well looked after by Paul and the food was fantastic!

We ordered a sharing platter for starters, which was delicious. We then chose other bits to have, including the calamari ( would recommend this) Everything we had was delicious and the wine was excellent too. There is not a massive selection of food on the menu, but what they do have is cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come again.

Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterWe had no knowledge of Belluno, being visitors to the area, but fancied an Italian meal for our Sunday lunch on 23 March 2025. We were delighted by the service, the food, and the atmosphere. This is a classy restaurant, and the chefs certainly know how to cook fish to perfection. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our bill, and considered it good value for money. If we were in the area again, we would certainly pay a return visit.

Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterTo be honest we were really pissed off with our visit on saturday 22nd March 2025. All of the food we had was fantastic with sumptuous flavours and well presented and the service was excellent. The problem was that my partner had the crab ravioli to start and was only served 3 small pieces of ravioli for £12.95 and even worse her main course of hake, salmon and prawns at a cost of £23.95 consisted of less than 3 ounces in total of fish and just 1 prawn all of which were covered in a cream sauce with no other accompianaments!! Really poor value for money and when we complained she was given a bowl of new potatoes !! What we did eat was very good but we wont return as feel completely ripped off !! She left still hungry and had to get a kebab on the way home which when you spend £100 in a restaurant is appalling. Comments please !!!

Upper Deck Bistro – PaigntonThe place is lovely and food is great, the people are polite! HOWEVER, we ordered a Meze for 2. The menu had no mention of pre order, or not able to order at weekend. It DID say not all item may be available. We were told chef did not do Meze on Saturday evening as it took a long time. We were upset as I booked 3 months in advance for a 50th birthday. 10 minutes after we ordered an alternative dinner, a couple sat next to us, we did not hear them order BUT, when their food came out it WAS clearly the Meze. We then asked them if they pre ordered and they said definitely no, they just ordered normally. We spoke to staff who basically (in a polite way) said tough! When you ordered the chef said no, 10 minutes later he said yes!!! There was no real apology, no offer of drinks for free or a free dessert to say sorry. Its such a shame to leave bad comments when the food is so tasty, but we really felt picked on, and the two people who DID get the Meze, kept apologising, and said they thought we were treated dreadfully.....

Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthHad a super lunch with friends at the H I on 13th March. The welcome from the bar staff and servers was excellent and the pub was spotless..including the toilets! The sea bass , eaten by the four of us, was excellently cooked with nice accompaniments…we were all delighted with our meals. We were very pleased we chose the HI and will return very soon. I could chatted all day with the bartender about guitars, bands and music…which was a bonus being a picker myself!

Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterDuring our stay in Axmouth we visited harbour inn twice. Staff were super friendly and very efficient. Nothing too much trouble. The food was great. Enormous and tasty pork ribs and a very good pizza. We had the sunday carvery and all 5 of us thought it was the best carvery we had ever had. The meats were tender and there was a vast range of veggies along with sausage yorkies and stuffing Highly recommend.
