Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthHaving run pubs with carvery myself I have to say it was an absolute fantastic service. Credit where it is due and I'm very critical when it comes to pubs and service. The staff are a Credit to you polite and courteous and nothing was too much trouble . Despite it being busy they never faltered once . We are local and will without a doubt be back . Keep up the good work
The Harbour Inn – SeatonLittle bit chaotic on arrival but that was very quickly resolved by the excellent staff ( think they are going to refine their on line booking times ) Food and service were excellent,

The Harbour Inn – SeatonAtmosphere service and food very good bottle of wine very over priced
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterBeautiful location, with fabulous views. We visited on a sunny evening and sat on the terrace. Very clean everywhere, including the "Poop Deck" toilet. We selected three dishes each (as recommended), which were a mixture of fish and meat and added Patatas Bravas and some bread. The food was excellent, one of the best meals we've had. The service was excellent too. Our only minor grumble was being charged £6.50 for bread.
Upper Deck Bistro – PaigntonAlways the best roast and best service
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterGreat meal and lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend Bellunos to others.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterWe ate here 4 times this past 10 days on our holiday to Devon. Every time has been fantastic. Great friendly and welcoming staff, fantastic food and the best chips around according to my husband and son. I ate lamb rump, chicen wrapped in bacon with sauce, chicken tika masala and lasagne. My husband loved the fish and chips and my son loved the burger. Highly recommended.
The Poltimore Inn – South MoltonMy friends and I had a great time on a warm still evening, sitting on the deck and enjoying the views of Plymouth Sound. We enjoyed a range of reasonably-priced tapas dishes and good choices of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The friendly efficient service (shout out to Millie!) enhanced the quality of our experience.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthAfter a day out with visiting friends discovering the history of my adopted city we finished up with a lovely meal at the Hourglass at the end of our busy day. The staff were friendly and helpful and while the service was a wee bit slow it didn’t detract from our evening. We put that down to the fact that the ‘Quiz Night’ was going full pelt upstairs and when we left we could see the bar area was packed with the quizzers having a good evening. This must be one of Exeter’s hidden gems and I will return. Shhhhh: don’t tell anyone else!!
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWhat a lovely find! We’d walked past The Hourglass sometime back & decided to revisit for lunch at some point in the future. Our return took place last Saturday (19.7.25.) We will definitely be back to this lovely little hidden gem!
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterBeautiful, amazing food, stunning location and really friendly service!
Upper Deck Bistro – PaigntonFantastic Sunday lunch very much enjoyed by us both! Thank you! We'll be back.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWe visited for lunch and the food and service were great as usual.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – Plymouthfood very tasty although would have been improved if we had a veg dish rather it being oiled on the plate....
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterThe greeting by the lady at the bar (sorry didn’t get the name) said it all, she was friendly & spent time talking through the wines , telling as little bit about the pub. She also ensured we had a good table in the restaurant as we were celebrating our anniversary. Atmosphere was fun/friendly. Food was delicious. We will definitely be back !!
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterDisappointed with starters didn’t have what we requested. Steak came with salad? What’s wrong with the mushrooms peas tomatoes with a steak. £24 for that. Over priced on starters. Quick service but not a great experience. Chicken all you can eat looked good will go for that next time.
The Harbour Inn – SeatonSunday Menu: 2 courses, £31; 3 courses, £39.50.
