Kenton Park Estate – ExeterExcellent food and service. Lovely setting overlooking the vines. Paul was super attentive as always
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterMy brother and sister in law were visiting from Germany and I thought Kenton estate would be a wonderful experience as it has always been a favourite of ours. Sadly we were very disappointed. We felt as though we were a nuisance for being there. The restaurant was very noisy and several loud crashes in the bar area made us all jump. The lamb sharing meal was delicious. The lamb kebab was full of gristle and inedible. The Camembert was good but the pile of bread on the platter was hard and stale and I couldn’t eat it. The menus are very difficult to work out. The wine as always was great. Such a shame as it was a celebration day that turned sad.
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterLovely tasty treat breakfast and a warm welcome from attentive staff. It is a little expensive but great for a special occasion. Will be back :)
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterVery poor food. Service pleasant and friendly
The Harbour Inn – SeatonAmazing lunch, the shared lamb was outstanding, my husband has been a chef and taught it for years, he knows the industry very well. It was truly recommended. Just a few things I would like to mention. The menus are definitely hugely too big, I couldn’t see the menu, and ask my husband to read it to me. As I couldn’t fit it on the table. But that’s it. So nice to have a vine yard and their amazing wine to drink, well done. And thank you. Value for money definitely good value Service was great too Thank you

Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthThis was our second visit to Kenton, having discovered it for the first time last summer and we were really looking forward to our visit having thoroughly loved everything on that previous visit. We were lucky enough to be allocated one of the huts that overlooks the vines, this made our visit even more fun, having our own little space, out of the wind and having such a lovely view. The staff were very attentive throughout, explaining the menu to us and talking us through the wines available. We decided to order the Motley Cru Deli Feast Sharing Platter as we'd had the same thing on our last visit and we're blown away by it. Unfortunately however, on this visit the standards seem to have slipped ever so slightly when it came to the overall content and presentation of the platter. We had to send a couple of pieces of bread back as they'd gone stale from having been out too long, but fair play they corrected that very quickly. Last year the platter had nuts, fruit, chutney, olives and even guacamole amongst the platter, whereas on this visit we had to ask for chutney, oil and butter separately and sadly there was no sign of olives, grapes or nuts. Last time around the quiche was served warm whereas on this occasion all the baked items were served cold. It's difficult to be sure but I'd also say overall the quantity of cheese and biscuits was marginally smaller. Last year it was all served in a lovely rustic basket whereas this time it was loaded onto the back of what I assume to be an IKEA pizza serving paddle (it was labelled IKEA on the handle). The food still tasted lovely and we will certainly go back again. The wine (Grape Escape) we had with the meal was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon, but we couldn't help but feel that it wasn't quite on a par with that first time.
Kenton Park Estate – ExeterCannot fault this place at all! We were greeted with a friendly smile and sat at a table while our window table was prepared. This took 2 minutes. We were asked if we had any allergies and ordered a jug of sangria, which was delicious. The food that we ordered was all delivered promptly and piping hot! Not only that, it was all extremely tasty! The service was second to none! I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!
