Simply fantastic. Ben was a wealth of knowledge and a brilliant host for our wine safari. A great story teller and catered for everyone.

We ate on a Monday evening, and had a disappointing meal. Firstly, the menu is nowhere near as extensive as shown on the website - no ‘catch of the day’ specials board, for example. The food didn’t look anywhere near as attractive as that on the website either. My partner and I both opted for the pan fried hake with a caper and butter sauce. Well, if the chef is Michelin trained (mentioned on the website) I can only assume it was his day off and someone who doesn’t know how to cook fish was standing in for him. The skin on the fish was flabby and greasy rather than crispy, and the fish was unpleasantly greasy too. Also, the advertised caper and butter sauce was missing. We pointed this out to one of the servers, who came back a few minutes later with two pots containing some partially melted butter with some capers plonked in it - that is not a sauce! We decided to have a dessert and shared a blackcurrant frangipane tart. That was ok, but nothing special, and did nothing to raise our spirits after an extremely disappointing main course. To be fair to the waitress, she did knock the dessert off of the bill due to the issues with the main, but I’d much rather have had a well cooked meal and paid for everything. In conclusion, I would say that the food was way overpriced for the mediocre quality of fare provided, and I can’t imagine we’d visit again.

Great food, great service and, if the weather is good, sit outside for a great view across the sound. Will certainly be back.

I booked a table for 3 friends and myself for lunch time on 9th July. The table was ready for us when we arrived. The staff were very attentive, the.menu very compressive with lots of choice. Smaller or larger portions. We had a bottle of Pigeage- Solaris Pinotin which was delicious! My only criticism is that the food is served,beautifully, on wooden platters. Very difficult we found to cope with chicken, which needed cutting off the bone. Would have been easier on a plate we felt. Overall a happy experience!

Had a fantastic brunch to celebrate the start of my 60th celebrations. Food was amazing (as always!). Staff and location was fabulous ❤️
