Fabulous!!! And as a fussy Spaniard that is not highly impressed by British tapas bars attempting to bring a touch of Spain to the UK, this is a huge compliment!! The food was delicious, the service and atmosphere was great and the location is wonderful!

We had a lovely meal sat on the terrace looking out over the sea. There was a wide choice and we had 6 between us which was ample. Our favourites were the paella and the chorizo in honey and red wine. Very good value.

The staff were very helpful on arrival directing us to our seat and storing our pram. We were seated on the terrace with excellent views. The service and the food were both fantastic and we will be back again soon. Thank you for having us.

We went here for dinner this week and sat on the terrace by the sea. A beautiful evening so the location was ideal and the food was lovely. We had five dishes between two of us which was the perfect amount. The staff were super friendly too - will definitely be going back :)

Had lunch here. A lovely spot on a terrace looking out to sea. The 'millionaires cruise ship' The World came into harbour whilst we watched. They could not have eaten better fayre aboard. Great choice of good value food found to beautifully cooked and served with a smile. Both the Goats cheese and the sea bass were superb. Thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Lovely food and service at a top spot. Great variety and arrived hot! Decor could do with a lift though as others have said - it’s off putting initially but everything else makes up for it.

Very welcoming staff and very polite and professional. Food was amazing and a fair bit to choose from which all come out very hot and freshly cooked. From table staff to chef well done for providing a fantastic tapas experience in a wonderful situated restaurant.

Food and service good, staff are very friendly. Sadly the building is badly kept, the outside is in need as redecoration and tidying up. The inside is very shabby and the stairs inside really let the place down. The food is very affordable so if you don’t mind this then that’s fine but sadly we won’t go again. Shame we use to live the place!

Regular visitors to Maritimo…had a wonderful lunch yesterday! Service was excellent as usual and the food was amazing….all dishes were hot and very tasty. This place is a real gem….never disappoints

Maritimo has long been my absolute favourite restaurant, food is always incredible as are the staff and the view. Recently had my in-laws down for a visit from Aberdeen so decided we’d treat them to lunch. They were amazed with all the dishes they had and thoroughly enjoyed every single one. My father in law is actually a retired chef and had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food. He was even impressed by one dish so much he’s going to try to make it again for himself when he gets home!

The food was good, the service friendly , the view over the Sound was great. Will definitely go back again.
