Fabulous dining experience
The Farmers Arms – DurhamAbsolutely amazing food, the pasta is the best we’ve had outside of Italy. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The two course offer was great value for money as. Delicious cocktails as well. We would definitely come back
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamBooked for Sunday lunch was sat very near to lovely warm open fire. Staff were very attentive and helpful. The meal was served very quickly fantastic selection of vegetables tender meat and a yorkie to die for. All covered in proper tasty gravy. Fantastic meal.
Witton Castle Country Park – Bishop AucklandWe had Sunday Lunch as a Mother's Day treat from my Son. We all thought the meal was lovely. I have to say it is one of the best Sunday roasts I have ever had in a restaurant. We all cleared our plates and didn't need anything else to eat for the rest of the day.
Witton Castle Country Park – Bishop AucklandWe had a lovely 3 course meal for Mother’s Day. The food was tasty and the staff were really attentive. Definitely worth a visit.
Hall Garth Hotel – DarlingtonWonderful food ,staff friendly a great place to eat in lovely surroundings

Witton Castle Country Park – Bishop AucklandJust been for Sunday lunch, could not fault it one bit. Food was amazing, staff where really friendly and price was spot on. Thank you
The Farmers Arms – DurhamFriendly staff, fabulous food. Will definitely be back.
Witton Castle Country Park – Bishop AucklandThis was possibly the worst service I've ever experienced in a restaurant. We waited for over 90 minutes for our main course, and when I asked for an update on time, the waitress was incredibly rude. Noone checked in on us during the time we were waiting, and no apologies were offered for the delay. The food was nice enough, but not worth the wait, particularly as we had children with us, who were very hungry by the time the food arrived. I couldn't believe the rude way I was spoken to by one member of staff. I definitely won't be back.
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamFood was delicious once arrived. We wanted 1h for main meal. Otherwise good atmosphere and nice food.
The Farmers Arms – DurhamExcellent, we had the afternoon tea, food was delicious and the service was perfect !
Hall Garth Hotel – DarlingtonGreat food and price. Had the £10 3 course and menu options explained to us Time between starter and main I was just about to ask when it arrived. Started with soup which could have been hotter BUT as cooler could taste the flavours rather than too hot. Parmos were spot on. Too much if to be honest. Chips were very dark in colour but tasted great. As normal had out sweet boxed. Two things to note. Many items now have supplemental charges which may catch some people out but this was explained by our server. In the lust of offers by the pub, you need to update facilities as the pods outside have now been removed. Will we be back, definitely as food is always excellent even though waiting times can be a little long
The Farmers Arms – DurhamExcellent afternoon tea. Quality fresh food. Staff were so helpful and friendly .
Hall Garth Hotel – DarlingtonGreat menu choice for Sunday. The traditional Sunday lunch was very nice but it was good to have other options. Portion sizes and prices were very good. Would definitely recommend.
Farmhouse Dine & Wine – DurhamFamily of 8 for Sunday lunch. Food was all excellent, service was good and timely. Only comment would be the price of non alcoholic drinks. £2.20 for a cordial and tap water is a bit pricey. at approx £25 per head including an infant and young child is at the top end of the budget. However to reiterate the scores below, service and food was very good.... we will be back.
The Farmers Arms – DurhamHad afternoon tea which was fresh and of good quality. Decaff coffee was available & we were given a glass of fizz.
