Had dinner here on Wednesday evening. Once again service spot on and food delicious. They had a steak night offer on which also included a fish option for the main rather than steak, which we both chose the fish. The deal included 2 courses and a bottle of house wine so excellent value. Enjoyed it so much we returned for lunch the following day. Hubby had pizza & I chose pollo Mateo, both with a side of their hand cut proper chips and again both delicious. Also had desserts, gooseberry crumle & lemon Meringue. Yummy, can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Beautiful Sunday Lunch at the Castle yesterday. We had a large party and everyone enjoyed it. Will be back soon!

Fantastic service with delicious food

Visited the Farmers Arms for Sunday lunch after a respected recommendation, and the experience was excellent throughout. The lamb with a large Yorkshire pudding was cooked beautifully — tender, full of flavour, and accompanied by crispy roast potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. The chicken dinner was equally well prepared, offering generous portions and a well-balanced plate. Starters were impressive, the garlic mushroom bruschetta, was plentiful, well-seasoned, and attractively presented. The aioli complimented the potato skins nicely, with the other starter. Service was consistently outstanding. Staff were attentive, professional, and welcoming, and the venue remained impeccably clean, even though we were the final lunch sitting of the day. The setting itself enhances the experience: guests enter through a traditional country pub, then move into a stylish dining room with genuine wow factor, combining modern décor with a warm, comfortable atmosphere, with outdoor seating lear + from the dining room. Overall, the Farmers Arms delivers a high-quality Sunday lunch with excellent service and a memorable setting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a well-crafted meal in a refined yet relaxed environment.

My hubby and myself love this little restaurant and yesterday I took my friend for lunch. Same great service and delicious food. I had Hake which was fresh, white & flakey and perfectly cooked with cherry tomatoes in a white wine and garlic sauce. My friend chose chicken in and rosemary and garlic sauce, she said the chicken was tender and delicious. We both had sides of handcut chips. One of my favourites when we come here, they are proper homemade chips, yummy. We made room for dessert and both chose tiramisu. The potion was very generous and came with fresh Berries. Cannot fault the service here, very welcoming and relaxed.

Excellent friendly service. Well presented meals of hake and seabass. Very generous portions and delicious food. Followed by sticky toffee pudding… superb. Will definitely return.

Food was nice but long wait. Good atmosphere but piano was annoying and too loud

We enjoyed another meal at Farmhouse Wine & Dine, and it didn't disappoint. We booked our table online and, when we arrived, it was ready for us. Our drinks order was taken promptly, followed by our food order, and it was great that they asked if we wanted our little one's meal to come out with the starters. All of our food arrived correctly, the portion sizes were good, and everything was delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. We'll definitely be back!

We had two meals in the bar and food, service and all staff were excellent. Will definitely eat here again if we return for another stay.

We had a two course Sunday lunch. The food was delicious and the portion size was good and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend and intend to come back. We have had meals during the week at lunchtime which were also very good. The staff and owner were very friendly and made sure we were happy with our food and drinks.

Hi lovely stay as always my mood was lovely th e boyfriend wasn't impressed with the chicken he had was chicken supreme but was tiny and doesn't say on the bone so he couldn't eat it x

I originally only booked for 5 but it ended up 8 on the night,nothing was a problem from beginning to end,the staff were absolutely brilliant with the two young children especially.. Everyone is from age 8 to 87 enjoyed the food which isn’t always easy so yes we will be back…

Amazing food as always. Good service no issues. They even cater for gluten free, this is not an issue and a very good choice of food.
