Picked this off the internet as a good place to meet between Leeds and Edinburgh. Just off the A1 Great choice. Good food , good staff very helpful. Excellent value. So good we are going again next time we do the journey

2 Parmos/Burgers for £20 on Thursdays. Myself & my husband really enjoyed our parmos and our daughter enjoyed her children’s meal. Great value & great quality. Puddings were yummy, too! Staff were really friendly and we’ll definitely be returning mid-week. We’ve previously visited for Sunday carvery which was beautiful & excellent value!

Food was amazing, the scotch egg syattwr was the BEST scotch egg I've ever had. Main and dessert were delicious. 3 courses for £19.95 is amazing. Staff were polite and friendly also.

Great service great food the black pudding scotch egg is what brings me here everything I come for a steak was gutted there wasn’t any but settled for the chicken kebab and I wasn’t disappointed and already can’t wait for my next visit we left to happy newly weds this visit was are first date as a married couple

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea, complemented by some relaxing spa time. The food selection was impressive and freshly prepared. I even managed to take two small boxes of leftovers home. During my visit, I misplaced my watch, but the helpful receptionist assisted in locating it. Overall, it was a thoroughly pleasant experience, and we definitely plan to return

We came for my parents wedding anniversary on say 31st August and overall had a lovely time. They were very accommodating to our requests and the food was lovely. However when it came to the Deserts it was a bit of a disaster We had pre ordered our food and the desserts still took about 40 mins to arrive. Some of it was just kids ice cream ! I got given someone else's ice cream and , as above, they just took ages to come out. They said it was because they didn't know what they wanted us to have the sticky toffee pudding with (ice cream etc) but this wa snot an option on the menu otherwise we would have pre ordered what we wanted with it
