Absolutely excellent service, value and food as always. A place that’s special to us as we had our wedding breakfast here.

Great food as always , lots of time to eat never rushed and always the best service

Had the festive evening menu. We were a group of 10. Everyone has said the food was exemplary and very tasty. Staff friendly and provided good service. Was a singer on too who was great and the atmosphere made it a wonderful night.

Excellent food, great prices and great atmosphere

Great service, amazing venue, extremely friendly and attentive staff and most importantly fantastic food and brilliant value for money. Would highly reccomend and will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a lovely stake and ale pie. I can honestly say it was really really nice, a little wait 35m but they are cooked fresh and you sure can tell it was delicious.

Excellent food and service

What a great place this is to eat and drink, 6 of us popped in for lunch for Christmas get together. The food is fantastic and great value for money - portions on the 3 course special are huge !! . The staff are excellent and very friendly. Will visit again.

A quiet meal at a busy time brought us to the Farmers Arms. My friend and I loved the place (I had eaten here before) and the menu was extensive and the quality and value for money were fantastic. A lovely friendly and efficient service made this visit very enjoyable, and we will definitely be back again soon. Thanks so much.

Had to make a last minute change to the booking and I received an email back within a few minutes. Well done. Food was brilliant as usual, good quality, well presented and hot. Service times can vary but were more than acceptable; much better than pubs that are hovering around with your nesst course before you have finished. it gives time for digestion to occur. As usual, the 3 course is too much to eat in one sitting so we opted to take our sweets home. I had the cheese board. 4 crackers, 6 sided, black in colour and very crisp - have never had the likes before and were great; onion chutnet, 4 different types of cheese and black grapes. A real palette feast.

We visited on Sunday for Sunday lunch. Party of 6. The pub was very busy and we waited a bit to get a drinks order. Food was lovely, however, was shocked to find that you have to pay extra for gravy. I have never known this in a restaurant. We do go out for Sunday lunch occasionally and this is the first time we have had to pay extra. Few of the group were missing veg such as carrots and parsnips however, we tried to catch the young waitress to let her know but she was rushed off her feet and the longer we waited our food would have been cold. We had to ask the waitress to clear our plates for dessert after waiting 20 mins after we had finished. Then we were told there was no eton mess left so we all ordered brownie to take home. Overall the food was lovely and we would defo return even though there were a few issues. The service that we did have was really good and the young girl was really friendly. Also, we came here about a year ago and the Sunday lunch wasn’t that good. This time it had improved massively. Think more staff May help the wait time and to make sure people’s drinks are topped up and don’t have to wait that long.

We booked for a meal online on the afternoon of Saturday 7th December when we arrived at the pub it was in darkness and closed. There had been quite a few power cuts in the area due to a storm but if the pub had decided to close why had the online portal allowed a booking.

Food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing.

Special birthday treat for my sister. We enjoyed the spa experience especially the cold plunge. The therapists were very friendly but professional so a treatment left us feeling relaxed. The afternoon tea was very varied and tasty. Thank you for helping to make my sisters birthday special. We will be back.

Food was really good with lots of choice. Service leaves a lot to be desired. The waiter struggled to crack a smile or offer any conversation.
