Nice pot of tea with tasty cake as well. Polite and cheerful service

We are very fond of this place. It has a lovely atmosphere and yesterday's menu was varied and full of good choices. The food was delicious and we all enjoyed our lunch choices. The fish pie on the specials menu , which I chose, was extremely good. However, there was demonstrably too much for the two servers to do. They were manning the bar, taking orders, waiting at table and making the coffee. With more staff in evidence, this would have been a perfect visit .

Always enjoyed coming here but sadly not this time! The chicken was clearly raw, the room was chaos with small kids running everywhere, the toilets were a disgrace. Even my kids thought it was dirty and not as good as they were used to. Won’t be back!

We love this restaurant! We went with our children and there’s somehring to cater to everyone. I am vegan and the vegan menu is extensive. Everything was delicious, the staff are attentive and the decor is fun.

Delicious cocktails and amazing food again. Wish they stayed open a little later but other than that, a lovely experience as usual.

Had a little birthday tea for my 6year old granddaughter Ella &kaitlin looked after us soo well nothing was too much trouble they lit her birthday cake and sang to her she was sooo excited Ella especially went above & beyond and we had a super time and kaitlin was so efficient in clearing up after us even our birthday wrapping and boxes brilliant customer service thx guys x

Met friends there, pre a visit to a doa hotel opposite. Food lovely, priced reasonably. Service was good. Staff friendly. Will go there again. So recommend.

We came here for my birthday lunch with our 2 Yr old granddaughter and everything was perfect. My husband booked it based on other reviews and it did not dissapoint. I had roast lamb and my GD had the childs roast chicken which was enormous. All roasts were delicious. My husband had the seafood platter which was also cooked to perfection the wine was good and so were the desserts . The staff were brilliant and catered to all of our needs. Reasonably priced as well . We will definitely come here again and would recommend it.

Brilliant! Very friendly and efficient waitresses. The food was tasty and well prepared. I cannot fault the entire experience for anything.

If you want great food, great portion sizes, great value & to dine in an environment with a pulse, then Grumpy's is for you. Staff are very attentive & go the extra mile to make sure your experience is a good one that you'll remember.
