Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-FyldeAte here for Saturday lunch. Went back on Saturday night with two other couples. Had a great time.. Food was fab. Going to book the who killed Santa night..
Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangTerrible service, over priced small portions, won't be going back Thai delicious in cleveleys every time for us!! Spent £50 on take away thry sent a £4 dish extra and came 1 hour later to pick it up!! Dread to think what they will be doing with it!!! Good luck anyone ordering chicken satays after us!!! Wouldn't recommend
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeTop class, same owners for 40 years. Very clean with excellent service, very busy place, get your order in early.
Oriental Chop Suey Bar – BlackpoolI order 3 Naga curries every week, and have been going to the Chilli Balti from the first week it opened. Portions very good, flavour very good, service very good. Would highly recommend.
Chilli Balti – FleetwoodWent to Nandos today for a quick bite to eat as we know the service and food are pretty reliable. Unfortunately, it wasn't great today. The place was busy however there where very few staff around. We waited 35 minutes for our food and lets face it Nandos is a one trick pony so it shouldn't take that long! While I was waiting I went to get cutlery and noticed the counter was overflowing with plates ready to go. But we still waited. I must add that only 3 people where actually eating in the restaurant at this time everybody else was waiting. This is unacceptable and puts me off of Nandos in Blackpool. When the orders did finally arrive my son had half a chicken and chips, we thought that 1 leg and a small piece of breast was quite stingy so asked the waitress if this was in fact the right order. She said yes that is half a chicken! and what do we think! I said what do you think?... Sorry Nandos its a thumbs down from me, I might add I only had a salad without meat so it didn't even need cooking!
Nandos – BlackpoolPrawn Korma, small prawns, we're not shelled, could not eat, pulled one out and had legs!! Tail and shell on, few I ate initially have scratched all my throat :(. Never had this ever before elsewhere. Couldn't eat it left it. Staff were very nice but didn't question it.
Fayez Tandoori – Thornton-CleveleysChu’s in Lytham is for me the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Not really in terms of the food (I’m no expert) but just that the décor and ambience is so good. They obviously had an experienced interior designer put this place together – or someone with very good taste! Staff are very friendly and professional too.
Chus – LythamWent last night (12/10/13) fantastic night, fantastic food, Joy the host couldn't do enough for us, really helpful re meals as we didn't really know what we were ordering!! Will be back very soon.
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaFantastic food. always a great meal and really helpful and friendly staff.
The Dilraj – St. Annes-On-SeaHave visited this restaurant many times and the standard is always consistent . Food is excellent, well cooked and service is efficient and friendly. The menu is extensive and new dishes are added to the menu, and on our most recent visit we were offered a sample of their new dish - Chicken Bahar, which was delicious - such a good idea to taste something different ! We had the early bird special, which is really good value with even a complimentary liqueur as well ! We shall continue to eat here because the standard is so good. Thank you Moghul !
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaJust had a meal at the Moghul, it was excellent quality, lovely fresh food and will be going back again. The added samples were very much appreciated. Can recommend the food here. Had a great meal and the service was very good.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaBeautiful decor. Did'nt like younger staff calling me "Luv" it took the ambience away somewhat. Felt chilly, so ladies wear something warm. Food not over hot either and was soon cold with the cool air. However we were very hungry so we rushed and enjoyed. Pashwari naan was huge. We shared and there was still some left but were too full to eat it. A few minor things should be addressed but it has only been open for two weeks and we wish them luck. So much money has been spent on the decor. It will be a shame if a few niggles let it down. All in all.....we will be going again.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolIf I’m honest, I didn’t know this place was here. I’ve been to the spa before here at Ribby Hall (and very nice it is too) and I knew they had an eatery for the ‘ladies that lunch’ but I had no idea it was a brasserie that opened in the evenings and that it had two AA rosettes. That puts it, in theory, right at the top of the tree when it comes to Fylde restaurants so we gave it a go last night and it did not disappoint. The Spa Hotel is an ‘adults only’ venue and although some of the aforementioned adults were still wafting around the lobby in dressing gowns when we arrived, it’s nice to know that if you’re going out for a decent meal in the evening you don’t have to run the gauntlet of screaming babies and misbehaving kids. The staff were attentive, the decor plush in a beigey way and the food was very, very good. My mother commented it was the best meal she had had in years. I had a lovely celery and apple veloute with black pudding spring roll, Bowland lamb done two ways and the cheese board with a glass of port. Recommended.
The Brasserie At The Spa Hotel – KirkhamWent to the White Tower for a private function last Saturday evening and came away thinking what a shame it is that this place no longer opens as a normal restaurant. It really does have the potential to be one of Blackpool's top, top venues. It's got the glamorous entrance (by lift), the wonderful views (especially at twilight during the Illuminations), the plush decor, well-trained staff and good food. In fact all the elements are pretty much in place - with the investment of a little time and money - to make this a real destination venue. I could see it being brought up to Michelin-star standard which would be great for Blackpool and great for the Pleasure Beach too.
The White Tower Restaurant – BlackpoolWent with the wife after reading on here about this local restaurant. Also had this place recommended by the wife's parents. The food was verynice, fillet steak was excellent!! A very enjoyable evening, something a bit different. Very warm welcome and friendly staff!!
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI can highly recommend this quality cafe!! Try the fish and chips, they really are fantastic!! And, I have never seen such massive eclairs in my life!! They must be seen to be appreciated. Excellent service here also, well worth a visit if in the town.
Cafe On The Pier – St. Annes-On-SeaVery good food large portions, plenty if U share bit pricey but would go again fajitas too die for.
