Just been again this weekend for a lovely breakfast and pleased to say they are now open 7 days a week.
Mims – St. Annes-On-SeaFab place, open late the best place in st Annes for a night out.
The Loft Nightlcub – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited Red Fort for the first time Saturday 23/3/13. Food was excellent service good , would recommend this restaurant. My wife and I have eaten at lots of Indian restaurants around the British Isles and this meal was up there with the best. Please keep up the very good standard. We live locally and like to support local businesses.
Red Fort – LythamOops - last sentence of my review should read 'open daily' . lol.
Mims – St. Annes-On-SeaThis is a great cafe serving 'comfort food' for those who want proper home cooked meals using excellent locally sourced produce. Been there a few times now recently and can honestly say the meals are wonderful. Ranging from lovely original home made pies, breakfasts, casseroles, stews and lighter snacks etc..Reasonably priced with quality the key and a warm welcome. They are also licensed and have an open mic night every second saturday at 8pm attracting some good local musicians in an intimate relaxed atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended. Only daily except wednesday.
Mims – St. Annes-On-SeaMy family and I visited the Golden Palace after reading the glowing reviews on this site and another. Either these people were all paid to write the reviews by the restaurant or they were made up by the restaurant themselves. This was our 1s tchoice of Chinese restaurant in Blackpool due to the references made to them catering for people with Wheat/Gluten intolerances, this was completely untrue, dishes could NOT be altered to cater for specific dietary requirements. Furthermore, the restaurant was freezing cold and we had to sit with our coats on. When we requested mayonnaise the waitress brought out sachets, all of which were clearly well past there used by date, as it came out orange and runny. The restaurant over all was tired and dated and nothing more than a below average takeaway trying to be something more than it is. I will never be returning and strongly suggest to anyone else they give the Golden Palce a very very wide berth.
Golden Palace – BlackpoolI have visited the Moghul on several occasions with friends or my husband. I have never had a meal there that wasn't delicious and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaDo not go, I've had better service in places like Harvester for a fraction of the price. I had a bad experience, the manager was not helpful, so I put a complaint in writing. Still waiting on a response.
Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-FyldeVery friendly people , kids enjoy it.
Ziggy’s Cafe Bar – BlackpoolAnother great meal - the food is just so tasty and flavourful without being at all overpowering. The chef has a great touch. The food was always top notch here but the surroundings let it down. Now that they have extended and created a proper modern I would say this is the best Thai restairant on the Fylde Coast, bar none.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeThe ambiance of this establishment is intoxicating and the management have managed to preserve that magical atmosphere for all the years I have been dinning here. The quality of the staff and food is superb and never deviates in its excellence. Ian Feltell.
Owd Nell’s Tavern – GarstangWe went last night for Valentine's day. We both had excellent meals, great service and a delicious Barolo!! The menu was great value too. Started with a glass of Prosecco, very nice, and tiger prawn linguine which was very tasty. My wife had bresaola and thoroughly enjoyed that too. We both had steak for main course which was perfectly cooked and of a very high quality. We always love it at Tiggis but last night was truly one of the best meals we have had out in a very long time. It seems to be getting better and better!!
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaSince when was the best also the cheapest. These 2 guys have undoubtedly created the best dining experience on the Fylde, with their friendly and relaxed atmosphere, top quality food, be it a snack or a full meal, served with a smile from very attentive staff and to top it al the amazingly low bill at the end. Got to be the all round best dining experience anywhere. Dave and Vicky. Vogue nightclub
Antons – St. Annes-On-SeaI went for lunch here on the Sunday gone and was very disappointed! The room was cold and the Sunday lunch was a carvery which it didn't specify on website! Wouldn't of minded but veg was raw gravy cold and the beef was dry and also didn't get the coffee which was included or sparkling wine as they said it was at their discretion if they served u the offer which was stated on website! Overall was a waste of time and money and will not be returning!
Imperial Hotel – BlackpoolI ate here with my Mum and Husband, I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The service was fantastic and our waiter even recommended a dish for my Mum that turned out to be perfect choice for her. We have eaten in lots of Indian restaurants all over the UK and this was as good as our all time favourite in Birmingham. The only small criticism I would make is that I would prefer the food to be served in proper metal balti dishes. If I'm ever back in St. Annes I will definitely return.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaCannot praise Tiggis highly enough, always accommodating, Romano is the man! staff superb most of all the food is superb.
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaAte there tonight on a deal monster deal... my husband's steam was the best he had had in a very long time. Both starters were lovely, the chicken in my main meal ok. Very friendly people. Downside is the toilet area. The window as you go through on the left is absolutely disgusting, full of cobwebs, mildew and dust. As were the toilets themselves. You seriously need a cleaner Golden Ball.
Golden Ball Hotel, The – Poulton-Le-FyldeVery poor customer service girl on phone very rude food took over an hour to come and was really cold had to put in microwave i rang the shop 3 times to be told driver had set of half an hour ago and the girl on phone to tell me there are no managers to talk to and its not her fault it took so long she does'nt plan the drivers route should have bought a microwave meal as thats what i ended up with
