I don't know what you all see in this pace, never had a good meal here. Batter was sparse, undercooked and wet, chips were pale and incipid, gravy cold and stodgy, pudding wet. Everything smells good, shame about the taste.

Seniors – BlackpoolHave been to this venue many times and have always been treated extremely well. They also look after our children very well too. The food selection is very good, and we've taken advantage of the early bird menu during the week, or had meals at the weekend have tried various complementary dishes. The quality of the food is excellent. The new menu is also very good, and they always want to try different food rather than the standard kormas and masalas. I’d recommend it, and been there with larger groups as well.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaCant believe I only went for the first time last week and I live right around the corner! Honestly though this place has it spot on, from the well groomed staff to the flavoursome food to the Mediterranean atmosphere, everything was just great, we just felt so relaxed we stayed for a while after the meal and had some cocktails outside under the parasols with the heat lamps on and the Greek music in the background we really felt like we were on holiday. Now our new local without a doubt! If your looking for class then I definitely recommend!
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaI have visited La Dolce Vita many times over the last year and it has never failed to exceed all expectations. The Early Bird menu is most excellent - in fact I have been known to turn down the sweet regrettably ! I would have no hesitation in recommending this delightful experience to anyone, the staff are good and the chef patron is to be praised for his efforts and imagination - and always with a smile ! Going again next week - beats slimming clubs any day !
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysThis is the best restaurant we have eaten at in Blackpool. We ate there both nights of our weekend break. The food is out of this world - delicious and fresh. The prices and well placed to make it affordable and the surroundings clean and comfortable - It's a 10/10 for us - I highly recommend it.
Toast Cafe Bar and Grill Restaurant – Blackpoollovely food the best steak around very nice staff did not wait long five stars from me very good drinks the place should be in top 10 best restaurant in the world nice amount of food for your money
JK’s Steakhouse – BlackpoolWe ate here for the first time last night and will not be rushing back. For a Friday night it was very quiet, whilst everywhere in St Annes seemed busy. The food was very disappointing and overpriced. I do not appreciate having to remove the intestinal tract from prawns because the chef is too lazy to do it.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaI went here last night with 2 friends to and had a superb meal. I had the Chicken Skewers Satay to start which were very fresh and tasty. For main course I had the Roasted Duck with Mixed Vegetable in a Light Oyster Sauce, the Duck was very tender and just as the starter tasted very fresh. If you like Chinese/Thai food that is a lot different to your local takeaway, go here you wont be let down The price was very reasonable for the 3 of us & the restaurant is done out superbly very elegant. Will definitely be returning soon. Thank You
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaAte there a few months ago and the food was so good , I asked the management about having a birthday meal and was told I could be easily and comfortably accommodated . Whilst trying to book the meal a month later , I encountered a very rude and bombastic waiter on the door who gruffly refused my request to book it on a night when there were no written bookings in the diary . In these times , I was under the impression that the waiters served the customers and not vice versa .
After reading all the great reviews I thought I'd give this place a try. Nice little restaurant, with an extensive menu, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, I don't really think the food was as good as it could have been. I ordered the chicken noodle soup for an appetiser, and the Kellogg Chicken for a main. The soup did not have much depth of flavour, although the chicken was very tender, which was nice. The main, was crispy pieces of chicken, stir fried with vegetables in oyster sauce. The Vegetables were nice and crispy, and the meat was well cooked, but I felt this sauce was too oily (almost like the chicken had been put in with the veg without being drained after frying) and lacked flavour. there was a distinct lack of aromatics such as garlic and ginger. I had Fried rice and soft noodles for accompaniments, and these were also lacking freshness, I felt they could have been improved with a touch of sesame oil and maybe some spring onion thrown in at the end. My Girlfriend had wonton soup and schezuan lamb, and she was equally as unimpressed. the sauce was pretty much exactly the same as mine. Overall, this is a pleasant little restaurant with friendly staff and good for a cheap, quick meal, but it seems the chef is so used to tourists ordering English dishes like omelette, chips, and curry sauce that he has lost touch with authentic Chinese tastes, and is scared to produce big flavours.
Golden Palace – Blackpooltwo of my guests visited the rose and crown for a meal and enjoyed the food and the evening. Would be grateful if you could send me some complimentary tickets to the norfolk house hotel 51 st chads road many thanks Mandi
Rose And Crown – BlackpoolWould not go again. Lasagne was completely cold in middle.... So must have been microwaved as fresh would not be like this. They didnt charge for it which was something.
San Marcos – BlackpoolAfter reading the recommendations on this site i am sorry to say that the Olive Tree did not live up to our expectations. The food was tasteless which was very surprising for a Greek restaurant. We had four different waiters and still i had to remind them regarding drinks .My family and i where very disappointed and on top of it all they charged us twenty pounds to much and were not at all friendly when we pointed this out. Maybe i should have spoken scouse with my family instead of Swedish.5-8-2010.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaGood service. They are always trying to please. Have some space for complimentary drink at the end!!
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI had noticed this restaurant mentioned by Robin Duke in the Evening Gazette a couple of times, he always gave it 10 out of 10 in his recommendations. I'm always a bit suspicious of over effusive reviews having been disappointed in the past with local Thai establishments. However I went along with the family to Suda Thai in Carleton. We went on a Wednesday thinking it would be quiet and we wouldn't need to book in advance. Mistake. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table as the place was full. No problem as there is the Castle Gardens over the road. A quick drink and our table was ready. We decided to go "all in" and ordered several dishes plus a few extra as the prices are reasonable. Not much to be said except we kept eating long after we were full. Truly amazing food! The spiciness was perfect for all our tastes, even without our ordering the extra dishes there was so much food. So now I'm the one giving the over effusive review, but I'm not a journalist, just an extremely satisfied customer. Bravo Suda Thai, you have raised the bar.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-Fyldebrilliant we found this place 4 year ago and have been going since very friendly great food and prices cant wait to go back there
Tiggy Winkles Of Bond Street – BlackpoolStayed here recently. The rooms are comfy, the staff friendly and helpful, but the food ,above all, was magnificent. All prepared fresh to order on the premises it was certainly different from, and a cut above, the usual mass produced pub grub.
Royal Oak Hotel – Garstangall the food is great here and proper chippy chips not frozen rubbish.......try Jimmys Fried Rice it's fantastic!! Regards
