I wouldn't recommend this deli/bistro to anyone. I made a booking for 4 persons, 3 weeks ago, for the Friday tappas evening. We booked for 7.30 and arrived at 7.20. There was no table for us and we were asked to sit at a food serving counter. When someone wanted to go to the toilet we had to get off our stools and breath in as there was no room to pass. When I expressed my dissatisfaction I was told that they "would quite understand if we didn't want to stay" What sort of message is this to give to customers? I dine out regularly with various groups and I will certainly be passing on the message that if you want a good meal, good service and friendly staff this is NOT the place to go.

We first tried Meherin when another well-known Indian restaurant in Cleveleys let us down with their service. Now, Meherin is the only Indian restaurant on the Fylde coast that we go to. The menu is varied with many unique dishes, and the service is second to none. We are very pleased that we have found a fantastic restaurant to take the place of our old haunt. The Meherin never fails to put a smile on our face with their astounding food. Well done guys, see you next time!

A proper 'Kebab' shop. Had a Haloumi special kebab tonight. I am definitely not a vegetarian and this was the first ever vegetarian meal I've had from a kebab shop but all I can definitely say is it was very nice, a bit salty (that was the haloumi) but very nice indeed. Live a little and try something new.

Have been a regular customer of San Marco since it was located on Highfield Road. However, I feel that their move to bigger premises will be their downfall - why??? On my most recent visit, the service was awful. My friend and I booked for a Tuesday evening. We were shown to a table, given the menus, weren't asked if we'd like to order any more drinks and we were still waiting for someone to take out order 30 minutes later. I had to ask one of the waitresses to take our order. It was another 30 minutes before our starters arrived at which point we asked for some more drinks - 15 minutes later, the drinks hadn't turned up so we asked again. We got the drinks straight away but they were not what we asked for so they were replaced. About 40 minutes after we finished out starters our main courses arrived. Now I can't fault the food at all - it was delicious, as always. The thing is, we only had pizza so why did it take so long?? Also, we were not offered black pepper or parmesan. Most of the staff seemed out of their depth, stressed and not sure exactly what they were doing. We finished our meal and went to the bar to pay the bill as we weren't prepared to sit around and wait for someone to ask us if we wanted coffee/dessert. They tried to charge us for drinks we had not had, pointed this out and the bill was amended. I fear that they have bitten off more than they can chew by moving to bigger premises and are becoming victims of their previous success. They seriously need to sort out their very poor levels of service, otherwise, regular customers like myself will not go back, no matter how nice the food is. Sorry San marco, but you have lost a regular customer. I used to highly recommend this place but not any more.

My wife makes her own coconut milk for her Thai cooking and I've been to Bangkok twice; we both agree, this was the best Thai food we've ever had. The ingredients could not have been fresher, the service was wonderful and the price was very fair. Be sure to support this place - they deserve it

We make an annual visit to Pablo's,fantastic food and great value. Service is very good and all staff are excellent, cannot recommend highly enough!

Took my good lady to Ego in Lytham on its second night of trading. Firstly I was surprised to see how busy it was, luckily the manager found us a table. The service was professional as I expected. The venue has a contemporary feel but still manages to exude a Mediterranean vibe. The Al fresco area is perfect for the summer months and I think you can drink in the bar without having to eat. The menu was short and sweet and truly I could have chosen anything off it. Mousaka and a veggie Tagine with a chorizo starter were our choices. Next time the meatballs or beef bourguignon. The Chianti to accompany the food did the job. Looking forward to being a regular.

VERY DISAPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY OF FOOD.. I recently visited Toast Cafe Bar in Blackpool and was extremely disappointed. The place looked very funky but as it turned out they spent all the money on the interior design and not on hiring a quality chef. The food was awful and the staff very rude and expected tips. I will never go there again.

I've only eaten in Nunzio's twice, the latest being last night. The first was Valentine's Day this year, and needless to say it was packed. However, the service and food were not affected by the rush and I thoroughly enjoyed it which is why I decided to go back for another special occasion. Although it was less busy, the standard of food was equally as good and the staff were all friendly. I think it will become a regular eating place thanks to the all-round excellence.

Had a meal here last weekend whilst camping nearby, and the curry was excellent - thoroughly recommended. The only downside, as mentioned by other posters on here, was that our request for a jug of tap water resulted in an expensive bottle instead, without any prior warning, and the 'we don't serve tap water' policy was only explained when I queried why they had provided me with a bottle. C'mon people, get a grip - this is not acceptable now, and the £6.10 charge for a glass of diet coke and some water meant that we didn't leave a tip, not to mention this poor review. When are places like this going to realise that policies like this result in bad publicity, and cost them money? Just to re-iterate though - the food was excellent!

Every Friday me and my pals from work go out for our lunch, it's not easy to find somewhere with the balance we need in Blackpool. Winston's seems to be just right though. It looks good and has comfortable surroundings, has fresh food for a decent price and they don't sting you on the drinks prices either. The food isn't fancy its just good fresh stuff well prepared, give it a try!

We eat here usually twice a week. Excellent food,ambience and service by courteous and friendly staff. The tapas dishes are great to share with friends and just enough if you don't have a large appetite.

Whilst on holiday in Blackpool last week we visited Jade Delight. Not knowing where to go I searched my iPhone for a recommended Chinese Restaurant and after Reading several reviews I picked Jade Delight.There was 6 in our party and we all had the 'all you can eat' buffet. We all agreed that there was wide choice of dishes and the food we all had tasted lovely and was reasonably priced. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We even managed to park outside. If your out and about in Blackpool and fancy a chinese meal I would highly recommend Jade Delight, it's not a previous award winning restaurant for no reason.

A big thumbs up for Chintana, who's fantastic, authentic fresh thai food is by far the best ive tasted outside Thailand. A not too complex menu, generous portions, great value for money in a relaxed informal setting make this restaurant a great choice for newbies or experienced thai food diners. An unusual setting opposite St Annes Road Fire Station in South Shore, Blackpool. Definitely worth searching out.

Me and my partner are regulars at this Restaurant to either dine in or takeaway its always very enjoyable there is never been a problem. The food is fresh the Restaurant is always clean looking and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to eat especially on the offer for 4 courses £9.99 on a Sunday,Monday and Wednesday evening any dish off the menu!!!! and there is always a doggy bag for the babysitter!!...all round ideal curry lovers Restaurant.

had a great meal ,very good quality . but the special board was sold out and all other items were individually priced so although I'd recommend it £13 for 2 fish + chips and peas with bread seemed very expensive maybe a cheaper version as make me think twice about going again

wonderful fish and chips. we enjoyed a senior meal deal of small fish and chips,cup of tea and bread and butter for under £5.00. excellent all round food ,service and hospitality . WELL WORTH A VISIT. MR S ORREY LINCOLN
