Zest Food & Wine Bar – LythamFood was good on the whole although one of our group sent food back because it was cold. Service was unbearably slow. It took 1 hour 15 minutes to get from being seated to getting the food on the table. we were given menus for desserts and no one came back to see what we wanted. we eventually told a waiter we wanted a bill because we wouldn't wait any longer to order desserts. No bill came and after 20 minutes we went and paid at the bar - Although the food was good we won't return because the service was so poor.
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonSpotless, good service and food is delish. Seniors is the only chippie I use.
Seniors – Thornton-CleveleysAfter trying this restaurant are sure will reevaluate the Mcdonalds where the food is much better. Do large portions may to conceal the fact of not knowing to flavour to simple dishes. The service one and only good thing although, it must be embarrassing to clear away dishes half full. Service vote 6 . Food vote 3
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysI work in Lytham and stay in St. Annes most weeks. I always include a visit to the Moghul Premier one day of these weeks. The food and service is excellent with a wide choice of dishes. I especially like to see fish dishes on the menu (in addition to prawn) and the Moghul has plenty of selection in this category. Food quality is what I would call "gourmet class" and definitely value for money.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaAfter someone recommended the Lytham Kitchen to me a few weeks ago, I decided to give it ago on Monday, I have got to say not only was the food fantastic and very reasonable, the service we received off the girls was second to none, so fast and friendly, with a little humour thrown in!
The Lytham Kitchen – LythamThis is an excellent place to eat breakfast, they have specialist evenings, and the sandwiches to go are delicious. Probably one of the best places to eat in the Fylde area actually. The only points to note are: the very small capacity of 4 squashed tables and the service that is horrendously slow, to the point where you may wish you hadn't bothered.
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeThe Red Fort is an outstanding Indian Restaurant. The new decor is excellent, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is brilliant. The waiters are so friendly and helpful and they make you feel at home. A fantastic dining experience!
Red Fort – LythamVery good service. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Red Fort – LythamWhenever we try to decide where to go out to eat, we always wonder "shall we try here, shall we try there". But we usually decide "let's go to The Red Fort". The Red Fort never fails to satisfy. If you're a fan of Indian food, you may well have your favourite restaurant and probably your favourite dish that you always have. The Red Fort is our favourite and we always get great friendly service and excellent food. The restaurant is clean, modern and stylish. They have a huge menu with many different dishes that you will not see on other menus. They even offer you a small complimentary taster dish of any menu item - so if you're thinking of trying something different to your normal dish, you can try it for free. The Early Bird offer is great value for money - Papadoms with chutneys and ANY main course with rice or naan, for £8.95 before Monday to Thursday 5pm to 7pm. Last night we went for the Early Bird and had the papadoms to start followed by a lamb Pathia and a lamb Naga. The lamb is always melt in your mouth tender, unlike some places where I have been where it can be tough and chewy. We also had an Aloo Gobi (cauliflower and potatoes) and a Mator Paneer (Peas and indian cheese) as side dishes. The Early Bird dishes are not smaller than the full price meals, and we still managed to eat the lot! No doubt, next time we decide to eat out again, we will face the same tough decision - where else to go other than The Red Fort.
Red Fort – LythamWe have been eating at Red Fort since it opened over 20 yrs ago. The new decor and lighting have really set the Red Fort apart from other Indian restaurants in the area. Food is consistently good and the menu is varied . Ahad and all his staff look after us very well and the service/food to a very high standard. Visitors to Lytham should not miss eating at Red Fort.
Red Fort – LythamMy girlfriend took us to Gemma's for my birthday and it was wonderful. We went on a Sunday night and the staff were very welcoming when we went in, they were very polite and never rushed us. The meal was excellent and there was plenty of choice for my girlfriend who's a vegetarian. We had the 9.95 special offer but neither of us drink coffee or tea, so instead they brought us out brandy instead. The cost of the meal, the service we received, I would have to rate this as one of the best restaurants i have been to. To top it all they gave my girlfriend a carnation at the end of the meal. will definitely be visiting Gemmas again.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaBeen here a few times. Great menu. Great service. Good prices. Me and the boyfriend (I'm far too old to have a boyfriend but hey ho), anyway he always orders the same thing and although we only go there infrequently, the waitress remembered what he likes. Now that's good service!
Maddisons – BisphamQuite simply the best Chinese restaurant in Blackpool in my opinion providing somewhere sophisticated to eat in the resort.
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolWe ate the Moghul last night 25th June, we have eaten there a couple of times this year after being recommended by a passer by who had just eaten there. The food is absolutely beautiful, the staff and especially the manager go out of their way to accommodate you, and the prices are reasonable too, we will be visiting again soon.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaGreat sandwiches lots of choices. All celebrations cakes I have had have been great both for .my husband son and grandson.Just pass your ideas to Stella and she produced me great cakes.
Home Maid by Stella – Thornton-CleveleysWonderful food and excellent service. Each meal made to order. I have special dietary needs and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.
