North Euston Hotel – FleetwoodThose who haven't visited Mr Chow's are missing a great restaurant. Very friendly staff; nothing is too much trouble, and the value for money, especially at lunch time is very good.
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaA most enjoyable meal in very special surroundings. The staff were most attentive and a very good selection of dishes on the menu. First visit but not last.
Ashiana Tandoori Restaurant – KirkhamA great find. The staff are genuinely into their food, and the chef is very flexible - he'll basically cook what you ask! The wine list includes the wonderful Chateau Musar - 1994 best, 1995 fabulous.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent food; service was attentive without being too pushy. Save it for that special occasion - you wont be disappointed.
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysReasonable food, but sevice a bit slow. Dodgy crowd there though. Some old ginger ( sorry strawberry blonde ) bloke celebrating his birthday with a strange bunch. I overheard one 'middle aged' chap tell his friend that he still lived at home and wasn't allowed to go to the world cup. Never mind though, being a pub alcohol was a plenty.
Grapes – Kirkhamthe wife and i ate there and both enjoyed our meal.i had the customary all day breakfast while my wife had a prawn sandwich with chips.a reasonable place to eat outside in nice weather although inside is rather smokey.
The Lord Derby – St. Annes-On-SeaI went for lunch today with a bunch of work colleagues. I enjoyed my lasagne and my friends enjoyed their choices particularly the bacon and chicken salad. The staff were attentive, worth a visit.
High Cross – Poulton-Le-FyldeNot your normal pub grub. They have obviously made a big effort here with a wide choice of dishes available from the blackboard and very friendly staff. My chicken pasta dish was excellent and frankly not what I expected in a pub. My only quibble would be with the time it took to get served but I guess it was Good Frifay and it was chocca. . .
Grapes – KirkhamI've always thoroughly enjoyed dining here, but the recent Easter Sunday menu was just so good that I simply had to share my experience with the rest of the World .... My Celeriac & apple soup starter was mouthwateringly good, and the Stilton beignet complimented this to perfection. For my main course I had the Sirloin of beef, which was served with the most generous helping of vegetables, potatoes, yorkshires, gravy, etc, that I'd ever seen ! Despite having to undo my top button by this point, I couldn't possibly pass on the opportunity to indulge in the Chocolate & Orange torte with orange chantilly ! All members of my party were equally impressed by their choices (I'm told the lamb was also particularly good). Excellent value for money, and all for under £15 per head !!!
Dalmeny Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaAgain I had a great night at Porto's. A couple of drinks at the bar, upstairs to the posh part for a slap up, then back to the bar to drown my tonsiles, marvellous!!
Portofino – LythamThe particular attraction of Guy's is that the very young and the very old are just as welcome as the rest of us. The menu caters for all tastes and offers great variety, as does the wine selection. Excellent and enjoyable value for money but it is NOT a discreet, candlelit bistro!
Guy’s Eating Establishment – GarstangAs good a chinese restaurant as you will find but it is expensive. The menu is conventional but well cooked and served with skill. It is often busy at the usual times but I have never failed to get a table.
The Great Season Chinese Restaurant – GarstangThe staff were very pleasant and efficient. I really enjoyed my steak and chips and I thought there was plenty of choice on the menu. The Emerald club for the over 55's is a great idea and great value!
You pay for what you get. The entire dining experience was superp. The service is excellent, the food is excellent, and the modern interior design fits the overall ambience of the restaurant. The recommendation is provided with no reservations.
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysUnquestionably the best kebabs in the area. The meat is tender and succulent and a class apart from the boot leather served up at some other places. Plus it's always carved fresh in front of you. Cabbage and onions -- not all the other nonsesne that some places serve. And home-made chilli sauce which tastes like it shoud --achingly hot. I've been a customer since it opened 20 years ago. Accept no impostors!
Armenian Kebab House – Blackpoolrestaurant food in a friendly pub atmosphere, try the chicken pommedero or the shank of lamb absolutely fantastic due to new owners this place is like hidden gold waiting to be found
Ship Inn – FreckletonI would highly recommend twelve to anyone. I would suggest saving your visit for a special occasion as it is quite pricey, but it is worth paying extra for top quality. The staff are friendly and the decor fantastic. Will definately be eating there again.
