ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! Six of us dined on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Even so, the service and food was fantastic, and we will definitely return.

Henry’s – LythamI went to Bosco for a Birthday Meal with my family and it was a DISASTER! We walked in the Restaurant and no-one welcomed us at all, we had to sit ourselves down. We were sat for about 20 minutes and still no-one acknowledged us, we had to literally shout the waiter down to take our drinks order. Even then he didn't know what lagers they served and then disappeared for another 10 minutes! When the mains came out, mine was missing! I had to wait another 10 minutes after everyone else got theirs, so of course I was left eating on my own... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME! One of the mains was undercooked pasta - we sent it back but were still charged for it!!! To top it all, despite being the largest table in there, spending several hundred pounds, the owner made no effort to come and talk to us and showed us no warmth. He spend ages talking to his friends on other tables but made zero effort with ours. I was left feeling cold and ripped-off. Zero atmosphere. Terrible service. Safe to say I won't be going back! There are far better Restaurants in Lytham.
Bosco – Lythamomg !!!! love wah wahs best place i have ever been to to get tofuuu !!! just love it sooo much .. such amazing food .. in fact I'm going to get some now :) !!!!!!!!!
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolLast evening we booked for four people for an early evening meal before going on to a show. we were pleasantly greeted and seated in a few minutes and served a drink and then given menus. With out the usual promoting we were told the choice of soups of the day. The food was very good, we all enjoyed our main course and the two sweets and two coffees that followed. The service was very good through out and we will be making a return visit soon.
Toast Cafe Bar and Grill Restaurant – BlackpoolWe have had the pleasure to dine here on numerous occasions, without doubt this is the best restaurant for miles around. We have been lucky enough to sample the bistro style weekday lunch, as well as the evening a la carte and set menus . The fantastic value 3 course Sunday lunch menu is a family favorite with both my teenagers eager to join us, which doesn't happen often! The food is always fresh, and sourced locally as well as using fair trade suppliers. Menus are varied and mouthwatering, it takes me ages to choose from all the tempting dishes on offer, I always want to try something I haven't had before and I am never disappointed. We always leave wondering when we can fit in another visit soon. The team at Pipers are first class, a warm welcome as well as friendly efficient service just tops of a perfect eating experience. If you haven't tried it you don't know what you're missing.......
Pipers – GarstangWhen driving down the little country lane that takes you to Rigbys, I was in awe!! Such a nice setting, the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our table sat down to huge plates of Lamb Chops, Fillet Steak, Sirloin Steak and the brave person on our table sat down to a Mix Grill (Sirloin Steak, Pork Chop, Lamb Chop, Gammon, Cumberland Sausage, Black Pudding!!) It was huge!! All locally sourced from neighbouring farms we were informed. As much veg and potatoes as you liked, the waitress informed us, if you run out just ask for more, there was little chance of that happening though! You could not argue with the prices, very reasonable. Wine list was also excellent we had a great House Merlot and Bottle of Black Shiraz. Well worth a trip!!
Rigbys Farmhouse Restaurant – FreckletonReally liked this place. I used to live in London and it reminded me of the kind of buzzy little place you might find in Ealing or Chiswick. There's an open kitchen, a takeaway counter and a handful of tables for dining in. Great food, Greek and Cypriot beers and wines and not in the least bit pretentious. I hope this puts Layton on the dining map. And try the gyros here which is the house speciality.
Go Greek – BlackpoolVery disappointing. Food was ok, but nothing special. Ordered the Red Duck Thai, and got Sweet and Sour Duck. Phoned to complain, and whilst not receiving an apology they did offer a complimentary main next time. They also told me the wrong time, so my mate was stood around for 20 mins. All of this could have been avoided if they employed someone to answer the phone who could speak and understand English. Will go to Thai by night next time!
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeI eat here at least once a week best place in Blackpool and the owners make you feel really welcome in fab surroundings 10 out of 10 excellent
Ziggy’s Cafe Bar – BlackpoolGood quality food, good value, well cooked by friendly staff.
Kays Knott End Chippy – Knott End-On-SeaWent for an early mothers day meal on Saturday just gone and while I had heard/read that the food is good here I was still pleasantly surprised. I ordered the black pudding 'doughnut' for starters and the venison main course and both were really nice, big portion sizes and extremely rich. Everybody else in my party seemed to enjoy theirs too. This is a great traditional pub with good food and good ale. If the chef reads this and you noticed a venison dinner come back to the kitchen unfinished on Saturday evening then that was me, I was just too full to carry on and that is not a reflection on what I thought of the dish (I used to be a chef and know it can be upsetting to see plates with food still on). Marks out of 10?... 8. only because I thought the food was bordering on being too rich. Not been? Give it a go.
The Eagle at Weeton – KirkhamLove the risotto here!
Bosco – LythamNO!! We used to go to Bispham Kitchen regularly, but the last two times the fish had obviously been cooked twice and was brown as a walnut , not light and fresh as it used to be. The first time it happened we assumed it was one of those things but the second time we were so disgusted we left the fish meal and have not returned , this after dozens of meals there . be aware
Bispham Kitchen – BisphamTruly superb Thai food. Having spent 14 years living in Thailand, I can say that Suda's is the best Thai in the north of England. I have dined at all the local Thai restaurants and nothing compares to the food served here. It is advisable to call in advance at the weekends as they are really busy. Highly recommended.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeIve been twice to great fortune house for a buffet meal and both times it has been excellent. there is plenty of delicious food and you can eat as much as you like. I t is a bargain for the price. We usually spend just under 30 pound and we leave stuffed and a bit tipsy! what more can you ask for. would definitely recommend it!
Great Fortune House – Thornton-CleveleysI would strongly recommend a Wudz sandwich, salad box or breakfast box. If I don't visit Wudz within a couple of days I start to crave their food. You are always guaranteed Good Quality, Good Portions, Good Food! Don't just take my word for it go and try them today...
Wudz Sandwich Bar – FleetwoodWe went end of last year to mark a friend who was going to Spain to live. have to report that the experience at China Red was much like being in a school diner ..so much noise and very poor service apart from being asked all the time... WOULD YOU LIKE MORE DRINKS?? Guess by the prices charged for these you are really paying for all you get. WOULD NOT GO AGAIN.. NO WAY THIS RESTAURANT IS TOTALLY OVER RATED
China Red – Poulton-Le-FyldeThe Best Thai restaurant I have ever been to just love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have been a couple of times Just love IT ....................
