Eastern Spice – BisphamThe best Thai food on the Fylde. We have tried them all.
Thai by Night – Poulton-Le-FyldeI Went here for a meal last night & as always very good food. The Duck was slightly on the tough side but, this didn't stop me finishing the whole lot off. The Service was excellent and prompt & the Bill was very reasonable for the food we were served.
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonLovely small intimate place with excellent friendly service. Food was very tasty and very generous portions. There is a lovely outside covered area when the weathers nice enough and the music plays outside too! Would go back, really enjoyed it.
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-Cleveleysfantastico! The decor and ambience is a welcome relief to some of the more 'rustic' environments in other Blackpool Italian restaurants. The diner is met with warmth and the service attentive. But maybe the best is the food....lovely to taste home-made and authentic cuisine. In fact the only difficulty with this venue is actually deciding what to choose off the far-too-tempting menu options!
Sapori – BlackpoolGreat food, nice place, friendly and professional service. Very good value for money too.
Buraq – KirkhamPhil and I have been touring the fish and chip shops from St. Annes to Fleetwood. we found Norbreck Fisheries to be the best overall fish and chip shop in the area based on quality, service and value for money. We returned after our initial visit to check our first visit wasn't a one off. On our second visit we were offered hake and Dave was so enthusiastic about his product he brought out the fresh fish for us to inspect before cooking. Again it was of superb quality with bread and butter and as much tea as you wanted. Phil and I consider we have found a gem here and have been back several times since. The best value for money in Blackpool and the Fylde.
New Norbreck Fish and Chips – Thornton-CleveleysThis restaurant is now the little gem of Layton - we call here for our lunch and as we are working, we don't have much time so - we call for one of their takeaways - the food is always cooked fresh by Greek chef Spiros and served by the delightful Glenda. Even if you think you are not into Greek food give Go-Greek a try you will be pleasantly surprised how delicious and tasty Greek food is.
Go Greek – BlackpoolWent on a Friday night and just loved it. The food and service were fantastic. I was worried that the food would be too (spicy) hot, but all the dishes were flavoursome and just the right amount of "kick". I had the set menu (option B) and would definitely have this again! I live just around the corner, why haven't I tired this before? Now I have done kicking myself, Suda has a new regular customer!
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeHave eaten here many times ,food keeps getting better and better.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWe were looking for a new dining venue to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and am I glad that I came across the Olive Tree. Superb food and service and a lovely atmosphere. You couldn't ask for more. Will be back in the near future.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaWe have used Gennars for quite a few years and always found it to be superb. But with the new refurbishment it is now without doubt the best Italian restaurant in the area. The quality of service, food and atmosphere is second to none on the Fylde Coast. You must try it!! And they have Banda Azul wine - what more could you ask for!!
Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-FyldeI recently ate here with some work collegues and the food was absolutely gorgeous. They accommodated my fussy eating habbits without a problem. The staff were very helpful and have a wonderful sense of humour. This restaurant all in all was a wonderful venue and had a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaIt was a dark stormy day in Blackpool (imagine that?) and we were wet and hungry. We got in the car and drove around until we found a place we hadn't been to on the trip, The Cottage. The four of us ordered cod and chips. The lady asked if we would like mushy peas with it and we all fell around laughing because we are from the South (not our fault) but as we were on holiday we decided to try it for the first time. The plates were large and the fish was larger. A huge scoop of chips were then kept in place by a wall of mushy peas. Didn't really come to terms with the mushy peas but the cod and chips were unbelievably tasty. We went back there a couple of times before going home to see if we could bored with it, but found that we couldn't, it was that good.
The Cottage – BlackpoolAwesome
Bistro Italia – Poulton-Le-FyldeOrdered a takeaway and it must be noted the price remains the same as dining in. I would NOT recommend taking away...£9.50 for a chicken chow mein? Is this London St.Annes? Is the chicken corn fed? I think not! Portion sizes are not in the same league as the prices, think Chinese tapas with extra grease, you will consider dessert. However, after all said and done I would eat in on a special occasion. Nicer food than Chu's and nicer decor than 88.
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaAlways eat here whenever we are in the area. Lovely food with a wide choice and the staff are very friendly. It has always been very busy whenever we've been (at weekends) so best to book a table in advance as the restaurant is on the small side.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI go out to eat in and around Blackpool alot, My partner and I went to this restaurant last night (saturday 11th Sept). We didnt have to wait long to be seated at all - the food was fantastic as was the service, all staff were very friendly and we were made to feel welcome, a side from the food the best thing about Sapori is the decor and atmosphere. All in all a very good meal. I will be going back and cannot recommend it enough!
