Simply the best - no frills or pretensions just good, honest, decent food cooked to order while you wait. Recommendation - a large cod, chips, curry sauce and yes, a scallop and bread and butter to top it all off. What more could anyone want ............

Stumpy is the best landlord in the fylde, how many 3 foot landlords do you know??? The fact he has only got 4 and a half fingers makes it amazing that he can pour a pint. He needs to make happy hour available at weekends. Go Stumpy.

We went to pipers for the second time last week on a Saturday night very busy my wife had the pan seared seabass baby ratatouille wilted spinach rosti potato, I had the pan fried local duck breast, stewed red cabbage, whipped sweet potatoes we had the house wine which was very good and it was fair trade wine there is a good selection of starters and sweets to choose from the service was good staff very friendly but professional the restaurant is small but the ambience is great thank you Pipers and your team

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Pipers no Saturday and I can honestly say that the quality of the cuisine, the ambience of the restaurant and the service we received was second to none and I can highly recommend Pipers to anyone looking for that bit of something extra when it comes to dining out. A big thank you to Ian who I have been told since was the head chef at the villa in Wrea Green and won restaurant of the year for a few years running. We can see why

A couple of new dishes have been added that are well worth trying in particular the Rezatha which is the best Indian dish I have tasted

If you fancy going out for a drive and something to eat on a sunny day then this place is just right. The canal is full of ducks and geese for the children to feed and the canal boats, in particular the narrow boats are interesting to see too. There's a large seating area outside overlooking the canal and dogs are welcome too. Th'Owd Tithe Barn is a very picturesque pub/eatery and inside is very cozy and friendly with old farming equipment on display. There are countless numbers of fruit wines to choose from and you can choose to eat from the regular menu or the specials board. The food is fairly priced and filling, especially the sausage and mash with chutney. It's a really welcoming, relaxing place.

First class food, really friendly staff, excellent night out. The staff never rush you and you can relax and take your time. Our favourite Chinese restaurant.

Pipers is my favourite restaurant. We have been 3 times since it opened and the food and service get better each time. Ian's use of quality local produce, cooking and presentation cannot be beaten on the Fylde in my opinion. The restaurant is small and friendly as is the service. I can't wait to go again!

Same story as most, been wondering for the past couple of years whether to give it a try.... 5 of us went on a girls night out. The food was amazing, we each ordered something different & there wasn't a morsel left on any plate. I had the seafood which was beautiful. Will definitely go back, hospitality was great, food excellent... what more can I say!

my visit to ali babas was a happy one because i was advised by the very helpful lady taking the orders and having a very happy atmosphere on the premises makes for an entertaining time just waiting for the meal as it made as soon as you order it, and right in front of your eyes. i would recommend this place to any one even if you are a curry novice.

I am quite a regular to fishers plaice and i feel that they always serve me with the tastiest fish and chips in blackpool and i have lived here all my life . The chips are the best .

We live 45 minutes away from the restaurant, but are now frequent visitors. There is a great variety of delicious food at very reasonable prices.

Had a great time at the Banthai last week, the food, service and staff are great, really enjoyed the set meal a great combination of flavours and tastes, and the wine was top notch as well. We will be back soon.

My friends and I are regular visitors to the Cube and the only reasons are the atmosphere and the food. The service is terrible! But, I have to say it doesn't stop us going in for lunch many weekends! Some weeks they have waitress service but the waiters come to the table about 20 minutes after you have sat down and usually ask you if you want to order food not even reaslising we haven't even had our drinks order taken yet! Some weeks they abandon waitress service and leave you sat at your table like a fool waiting for someone! Then other weeks you approach the bar to order your food and drinks from there and they tell you its waitress service and ask you to sit back down and wait! A little complicated but we are used to it! The other thing pre 1st July was their smoking policy, some weeks I was allowed to smoke others then I was asked to sit somewhere else and I was advised that it just depended on what members of staff were on at that time! Then the usual order is that the drinks take forever as Bar staff are not trained on the art of pulling pints at the same time as sorting other drinks and doing the till etc (in my experience multi tasking should be on your CV if you are a bar man/woman) Then the food arrives but not always at the same time! In general we are just used to it now and most of the time too tipsy to worry ourselves too much, but we do always make sure that if it has gone really wrong then we tell them. You may think we are mad to keep going back but the setting and the food is what makes it, oh and the possibility that one week it will all go really well! My advice to the management there if you are reading this is to train your staff in customer service oh and how to crack a smile now and again!

Wow! What a place, food absolutely fantastic the staff extremely friendly the whole place was very clean & tidy the toilets are very clean neat & kept stocked, WELL DONE ALL. We will be back with more friends. MM
