we visited this Indian on a weekend away in Blackpool on the 27 oct 2007 .we ordered our curries and when they come we was all shocked on the size of the balti dishes they were so tiny and not worth the money. as we are all from Birmingham which has great curry houses and you get good quality portions we all refused to pay for them it was not the price it was just the size so people if hungry do not go what a rip off .they need to make there balti dishes a lot bigger

Contrary to what frances said i found my fish and chips the exact opposite! The fish was nice but the chips are sometimes a bit soggy. I'm not sure if it was actually haddock i got, as that is what i ordered, think it was cod. Never mind, i am a good customer, i eat from there about once a week and i will be going back.

My Partner and myself have been to many Indian restaurants in the Fylde and elsewhere including a well reputed one in Rusholme and Michael's wins hands down everytime. We love it and will continue to visit often.

I've been here before and thought it was great but I went on Saturday evening and they had run out of house fries, coke and Sprite. How can this happen in a restaurant?? And how hard can it be for someone to go and get more supplies in the event of problems with their deliveries, as had happened on this particular day? Also, when our food had been prepared it sat for 5-10 minutes before being brought to our table. Our waiter was held up with something else which is fair enough, but the manager walked by several times and just looked at it. Is it beneath him to help out in busy periods? Oh and then my partner's burger bap disintegrated a few bites in so he had to eat the rest with a knife and fork. Disappointing night and we couldn't be bothered staying for dessert, which is saying something for us!

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the queensway. I was served by a very rude girl called samantha who raised her voice in a very impatient way when i had to return to my table to ask my wife what other meal she would like as three of the meals we chose would not be available. both my wife and i felt intimidated when the same girl brought our meals over and never said a word even though we thanked her. I have been eating at the queensway for many years but will now have to start looking for somewhere else to go.

An exceptionally wonderful experience. Every evening i spend here is thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are extremely accomodating,f riendly and reliable. The food is fab and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend 'La Piazza 11' as a great meal experience to anyone, a must try.

Eastern spice is an Indian takeaway and from all the Indian takeaways in the fylde coast this is by far the best

We have eaten at the Akash twice and found the food and service to be of good quality on both occasions. The staff are very friendly and remembered us on our second visit.

Great food, my husband said he had the best lasagna ever!! The desserts are delicious too. This is the best Italian restaurant in Blackpool

Love the new supermarket with its restaurant upstairs. They even have a gallery in this flagship store. Great for breakfast and the outside balcony terrace catches the sun til late. give it a whirl!

I love popping into La Dolce Vita when I fancy a good, hearty Italian feast with some great wine. Also went in for the special at Lunchtime last week for the first time. The food was always the best Italian food I have had in a restaurant. The service is always great and the atmosphere pleasantly relaxed while still retaining smartness. As for the price, it's always affordable for any occasions. As long as I live in the area I'll keep on coming here. Overall superb! You should definitely be going and give a try. Guarantee won't be disappointed!

We had a party of 12 for my wife's birthday and picked the Table d'hote menu which, incidentally is £27.50 not £25 as advertised. The choice was good and the food excellent, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and the place itself is comfortable and relaxing. I thought the prices a bit on the high side for a set 3 course meal and the drink was expensive but overall we had a very pleasant and satisfying evening, we had provided a table decoration, some balloons and a cake which the staff were only too happy to assist us with. Would definitely go again but only on a special occasion.

I visit Taste on a regular basis and know of many others who do also. It has to be the best cafe in cleveleys and the surrounding areas. The food is beautiful and something different to what you normally get. Also the price are also very modest. The staff, particularly Shelley deserve some recognition for their outstanding hospitality. I seriously recommend this restaurant.

4 of us went for a meal today. Service and food was good. The salad I'm told was boring, but everyone's mains were fine, and the restaurant looks great, and isn't smoky anymore. I will be going back.

We eat out a lot and this is probably the best Italian restaurant in Poulton if not on the Fylde Coast. The food and service is excellent, the fillet steaks are fantastic but if you want traditional Italian the pastas and pizzas are equally as good. A Fantastic atmosphere. This restaurant was recommended by friends Colin and Adrienne and we all go regularly. It is the best food, value for money and dining experience I have ever come across. The menu changes regularly and with every change the opportunity to try something new and wonderful.

We visited Green's Bistro on Friday 19th Oct for the first time and the food was absolutely gorgeous. We selected from the very competitively priced set menu and were not disappointed by the choices offered. The service was good but the whole place lacks an intimate atmosphere: the music played was just too quiet which made you feel self-conscious about your own conversation and the lighting was too harsh, despite tea-light candles on the tables. My husband ordered a bottle of beer which was "cool" rather than the expected "cold". Overall, we had a lovely meal but probably wouldn't go back because of the disappointing ambience.The bill only came to £40 which was fantastic value for two three-course meals , two generous glasses of red wine and two bottles of a well-known brand of beer.

we have been going to the cartford most fri/sat nights for a long time, whilst loving it before, we love the transformation that patric and julie have done,the beer is excellent ,lovely staff ,well done to you both marion and doug (mmm nice hot chocolate)
