We visited Tapenada on Friday night and were completely blown away. The starters (fresh tuna tempura, and spinach roulade) were amazing and substantial. Likewise our main courses (salmon, and guinea fowl in chocolate sauce) were wonderful. The service was fantastic and friendly. My only disappointment was that tapas is only served up to a certain time in the early evening, but I will certainly be returning one teatime soon to try them out!

Turners Traditional Fish and Chips – GarstangThe Name of the Tavern is Owd Nell's and not Old???? the food and service was perfect. They looked after the kids and my disabled mother like they were their own. The place is very friendly and so quaint. The have special occasions on all the time, we just missed the Oyster Festival but have booked for their "Not so scary" Halloween for the kids and adults. Brill keep it going.
Owd Nell’s Tavern – GarstangLike one of your last customers said, the pizza was made by Christian and Alfonso who let the kids put their own toppings on after it had come down from spinning in the air to the amusement of all the customers. We had 12 fresh oysters and a bit of garlic bread to nibble at before we chose our meal. I had the tiger prawns a size I've never seen before then plumped for the Aberdeen Angus Ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection Mmmmmmm!!! We had a couple of litres of Guy's Plonque that was £12.95 and more than just plonque. Home made bread and butter pudding and a half pint of Artois Bock at 6.8% I was ready for my taxi home. I could have stayed in the lodge at Owd Nell's Tavern and should have done. It was fantastic for meat fish and service. Well done!!!!
Guy’s Eating Establishment – GarstangWell worth a visit. Food is fresh and well presented, not overly priced. Big enough inside eating and drinking area to avoid TV screen and noise if you don't appreciate football and the like. Surrounding area is worth exploring especially the canal tow path.
Owd Nell’s Tavern – GarstangWent there for a meal for the first time and the food was fabulous, great range and choice of dishes available for caters for all tastes, service by waitresses was excellent, will definitely be returning there again
The Broughton Inn – Garstanghad the homemade soup delicious with lovely wholemeal fresh bread ordered the mini grill which could have fed two magnificent good pub grub make sure your hungry !!!!!!!

The Great Season Chinese Restaurant – GarstangReally nice starter of sweet, fresh tomatoes, tangy pesto and a soft, young mozzarella. This was followed by an equally good main of some of the best lamb ever, so sweet and tender noissettes stuffed with apricots and saffron rice. The coriander crushed potatoes which accompanied it were outstanding. A thick, sticky jus complimented the aroma of the potatoes and saffron with the sweetness of the meat perfectly. A little disappointed with the dessert, orange marinated in grand marinara, nice, - but orange skin was a bit thought. All in all, a truly fabulous meal - with very nice wine too.
Zumo Cafe – GarstangVisited for Sunday lunch 20.08.06. and was very impressed. Staff were polite and courteous and the meal was delicious. Rather expensive for a lunchtime (£70+ for four diners) but we didn't mind the price because you get what you pay for. Will definitely return.
The Broughton Inn – Garstangliving in blackpool there is very little choice for tapas and spanish food in general. Found this place purely by accident in a classified advert whilst in a dentist waiting room. It turned out to be the best visit to a dentist ever!! Myself and my wife had the tapas and it was quite simply perfect - we had nine tapas dishes and each one was extremely delicious. We will be going again very soon - fantastic.
Zumo Cafe – GarstangMy daughter and I had a lovely meal on a warm evening and were able to sit in the garden taking in the last of the sun. The inside of Tapenada is clean, light and welcoming. We could not find any faults with any of our chosen dishes (which were all fish as it happens) and the desserts were great. I will be going again with my husband as soon as possible. Well done Tapenada.
Zumo Cafe – GarstangThe new holly has been refurbished and has a light airy feel. The staff were excellent and the food was superb. Anybody in the area should visit this establishment as the whole experience is delightful. Leave room for Hazels Strawberries!!
I have visited this establishment on several occasions and have always enjoyed the food and the ambience of the place. I would recommend this restaurant for a good meal any time of day

The Broughton Inn – Garstangbeen going to the horns inn for many a year but lately been going fortnightly never had a bad meal yet I cannot believe I am the first person to recommend this lovely place on Sugarvine not had a bad meal throughout about 10 years of going to this lovely establishment first went with my mum and dad I now take my own family here
Horns Inn – GarstangWonderful pub, friendly service with a marvellous landlady (Judy) who also cooks meals, which will keep you going for days. Roger keeps an excellent pint. I can't recommend it too highly.
