The Platform has to be one of my favourite pubs of all time and I've lived all over the UK. It has a great atmosphere, the staff are always super friendly, there's live music and if that's not enough they do bloody good food. They offer great quality pub grub options plus a really special Specials board with some super fine dining options. I've been many times now over the past few years and it never disappoints.

Also portions not very generous especially the fries. Added to that paying £ 2.20p each for a small carton of juice for them was rather extortionate.

Once inside and seated the table service was rather slow, but that was due to staff shortages, which during this current climate is understandable. The cocktail’s and food very good and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back and have recommended it to others.
