Spoon World Buffet and Bar – ChathamVery nice cozy pub. Food was very good. Also they accepted to host a large party on a short notice. It’s in a nice little village located very close to river side.
The Three Tuns – SittingbourneLovely people, lovely food and good value.
Bangkok Pavilion – DealA friend had recommended here so a booking was made for 4 of us but unfortunately 2 had to drop out due to health problems . I notified the 3 Tuns and confirmation was made every step of our contact (brilliant) My companion said she was tempted with Stake and Ale pie but as she had it before she knew it would be too much for her, so settled for ham eggs and chips which was a large plateful. I settled for the Seafood Board, during the meal we discussed whether I should request a “doggy bag” , resulting in the conclusion “large portions that were well prepared”. Although it was an hours drive for me I considered it was well worth the trip. Definitely will be returning.
