First visit to the area, we booked a table at the The Lunesdale Arms, and was made to feel very welcome as soon we stepped foot in the door by all front of house staff and even the locals, food was excellent, will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area!

A really unexpected find. We stopped by for a quick dinner. Amazingly atmospheric space, great choice of food and friendly staff. We mixed some small plates with a salad. Delicious and beautifully presented. Top marks.

Had a fantastic lunch at the Lunesdale Arms. Our first impression as we walked in was the lovely decor and the friendly staff. We all had three courses and enjoyed every mouthful of the delicious food. Service was outstanding too.

Excellent service and food in a lovely country pub/restaurant. We have visited the Lunesdale Arms on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Our thanks to all the team, both front of house and behind the scenes for making every trip so enjoyable.

Quite simply a great all round evening. Menu gave quality choices over a wide range of different ingredients. Making the evening one to remember.

Lovely hotel with a top chef! Great food and service. got to be one of the best venues in Lancashire!

Sat in the beer garden with a pint and a pizza, absolutely lovely.

Love the place, staff are always great. The food there is second to none. I'd ask this Brian Smith below to submit his doctors note or professional opinion on the matter. Too many people quick to think a jippy tum is from the last place they ate without realising that it takes 5-10 hours to fully go round your system . Bet he never even went to a doctors. Maybe he's competition trying to do the restaurant an injustice by lying. Rest assured peeps that Kirkby Spice is a VERY clean place

Lorraine

Lovely traditional eatery with old school service and meals.

Plato's is a fine establishment! Great food and drink in the heart of this lovely village.

My wife and I have visited The Tearooms quite often on a weekend, we have always eaten the All Day Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Staff are very pleasant and the food is cooked to a high standard, no grease at all. The cakes are excellent too!!!

Great food, simple menu of british classics with great open fires and service to match.

Platos is a tapas cafe with all day English food. It used to good, but today we were all disappointed with the fare. Hard cooked eggs florentine and burgers like hockey pucks were discussed around the table. The eggs were replaced at speed and with grace and a smile. Today was maybe, just a bad day at the stoves. I hope so as Platos is a pleasing child friendly venue.
